Hey bro great content btw! this may sound like a stupid question (sorry) as im learning to become a barber i came across your video - i wanted to ask you used 2 clippers - JRL and Wahl Magic - iv currently got one clipper as im just starting off.. how come you used 2 clippers? is it still doable with 1 clipper?
@@jbvisualsuk appreciate the support g. So the reason I use 2 clippers instead of just one is because of my half guard. When I use it on my Jrl’s, the guard rattles. The only way to fix that would be to adjust the blade. The half guard doesn’t rattle with the half guard. So the sole purpose of my magic clips is to use it with the half guard. When I first started, I only had the magic clips and I would do the whole haircut with it. The only reason I purchased additional clippers is because when I first started cutting, it was taking me 2-3 hours to complete a single haircut so my clippers would die.
@@True.Blendz I appreciate for responding bro! Keep up with these amazing content! Ahh got you! Yep, no worries. Starting this journey! Following u for more tutorials!
Yo bro, im 17 I currently work in fast food. But I always wanted to become a barber at home just to make that extra cash. Any tips of how to start ? Because I have no idea how to start if I should go to a barbering school
Watch videos on how to cut . Find someone who cuts the way you would want . Then study that shit hard . Save your money for good clippers don’t buy cheep . Buy the ones that are high quality . Then find someone who trust you . The big step is to start . Start now because these years will pass by crazy . That’s what I did . Barber school isn’t a bad idea but regardless start now . Don’t fall away from your dreams
@@carlosjnunez8018 I was working at McDonalds when I was 17. I worked as many hours as I could and saved up all my money. If you have savings, I’d say spend $200-300 on barber essentials(Clippers/Trimmers,Shaver,Cool care, comb and scissor, maybe cape and neck strips)
@@carlosjnunez8018 I started with wahl magic clips. They’ll get the job done bro. I’d use them as my mains but I’ve upgraded since. I wouldn’t say jump into barber school all the way unless that’s what you want as a career path. Watching videos and practicing is how I started/learned. I’d recommend do the same.
@@carlosjnunez8018 getting 1 or 2 ppl that’ll let you cut them every 4-5 days is what you need to get consistent reps in. I learned how to cut from Chris Bossios old tutorials and some Seancutshair every now and then, but there’s plenty of youtube barbers to learn from. Stick to one only tho cuz everyone has different steps they use to cut hair. So if you’re watching different people, you’re gonna confuse yourself.
@@igqrek7530 majority of them are people I know personally. Others are friends of friends that I’ve come to know. I have insta and tiktok, but a lot of my clientele comes from personal relationships I’ve made over the years. I have a few that I’ve also met through cold approaching them in public. Early into my barbering, I would approach strangers asking to cut their hair for free. Lot of rejections but I’ve locked in a few that way.
@@mvcutzzzzz I thought I responded earlier but idk why it didn’t show up. Your cuts are clean g. Your clients have hard hair textures to blend but you got that shit Fs. Hit the designs with a razor if you aren’t already 🔥
