My Tilta Hydra Alien Setup & Mods

This is my tilta hydra alien setup and the modifications I have made to it. I have had the rig for just over a year now and get a good bit of questions from viewers asking about the setup.
Also this is my first talking bit I have ever recorded on camera of myself.

great video, can you let me know where did you get the cable with aluminium blocks ?

I just got the braided cable from the hardware and machined the aluminum blocks.

Thanks for the video. Really appreciate you sharing your mods. I see you don't have a GPS module on your gimbal. Is that something you purposely decided not to use?

Didn't know that was a thing. What does the GPS do for the gimbal?

@@trey0mckee The GPS module accounts for the G forces during acceleration and turns, keeping the horizon level at all times. It makes a big difference. Search for Ronin-S External GPS Module. It's made for the Ronin-S but there's a cable from DJI you can get to make it work with the RS2/3.

Do you have an idea why mit image from it wiggles left and right slightly? Could it be sensor stabilisation?

Could be gimbal dead zone and sensitivity settings
