I seen him in concert back in 2017. He was extremely friendly and down to earth. The man stood there for 2 hours taking pictures with all the fans in the venue. Thank you Mr coolio for the blessings of good music.

This album was actually the first rap album I ever bought back in the day. I always thought it was a shame he was basically known for 2 songs and then faded into hip hops history. But then, he wanted it that way.
I remember he won several awards, and each time he kept it short and sweet with just a “thank you” a few times. Humble always in my eyes. Incredible rapper who was slept on for sure.
He will be missed. Hope he lived his life in a way that made himself happy in the end!

The first CD I ever owned was a Coolio album. My middle school guidance counselor was given money to make one "unfortunate" family's Xmas better my 6th grade year and she chose me. I was given a brand new CD player and Gangsta's Paradise. Looking back, for a little white girl in middle-of-nowhere Kentucky, she probably found that to be an odd choice, but apparently I'd mentioned loving that song and so she made it happen for me. She was hit by a drunk driver shortly afterward and is now barely recognizable and doesn't recognize me.
I forgot how good this music video was. This song really brings back memories of my teen years. I was 17 yrs old. RIP Coolio🙏✌️

R.I.P. Coolio one of my favorite artists ever known since my childhood in the 90's. I heard this song as a kid when I was watching Kaazam on VHS during the beginning to this movie. It's 2023, still jamming to all of Coolio's songs and this is one of my top 10.

Born in 93 only heard of Coolio off Kenan an Kel theme song, now tuning into alot of his music recently an he is truly a pioneer of that era. A very simple statement to many but to us white Hip Hop Heads this is the mark of a true MC and someone who understands what Hip Hop means and what it was meant for. I was a fan not long, maybe a few months before he passed but he was immediately put up there as one of the better MCs.
