The other day my daughter told me that she knows she felt the spirit of Jesus because she became so happy and filled with Joy..and it was such a wonderful feeling that she said she would have given up anything to always be close to the spirit of Christ. And she is only 11 :)
Scripture says, the joy of the Lord is our strength. This joy comes from submission to God so that Holy Spirit can minister to you. The joy of the Lord is an overwhelming feeling of happiness; like the way you feel if you are 'in-love'. It is this feeling that anchors us to be strong in trying times.

God allows trials and we are living in a fallen world, and yes God is still good even when things around us and inside us fall apart. Sickness and hard times will come because we aren’t always shielded from those things! But in those times God doesn’t leave us. He uses the hard things to prune us like a tree that isn’t perfect and needs trimming. None of us are perfect! He is working on us still! But May we be welcoming of the hard things and not just the good things God gives! Let’s not avoid the molding and shaping of our lives into what He wants for us. He is in control we aren’t. If I take charge of every single thing in my life and I don’t ask God to be in charge I am setting myself up for failure.
