The fact that you're able to do all of this out of a freekin caravan is impressive to me. Cooking, washing clothes etc. seems to require a lot more structure when you're living out of a vehicle. Keeping up with the training volume, getting the right nutrition and being organized is hard enough for me while living in an apartment, let alone a very small house on wheels!
What a stunning location 😍 Watching your race prep is giving me goosebumps for the race day itself. Also well done on the blade wraps. Back in my day it was sandpaper and a pot of smelly gloss. #yamsquad
Love hearing all the birds chirping around you when you are talking to camera, ambient sound feels like an increasingly important part of coveying mood and putting us there with you. The quality of your vlogs has stepped up yet again Cam, 10,000 hours of practice has clearly made you an expert 🎥🎬💪. International racing in a single who'd have thought that a few years ago? Bella!
Been a journey for sure! Really enjoying the direction I've ended up going in this past season. Definitely not the one I imagined but one I'm enjoying!
Hi Cam, Stunning stretch of water including the river - nice to go to an event and take in the scenery whilst training 😎 As for vinyl - either wet the surface with water and a little washing up liquid which means you can slide the vinyl around then squeegee the water out with a softish piece of plastic or credit card. Wrapping around shaped areas where the shaft joins the spoon, just warm with a hairdryer on hot or a heat gun (be careful - don’t cook it!) Looking forward to the racing against some top quality opposition 😤
Love your videos, and thanks for sharing your adventure. Been rowing in my Nebraska basement all the dark winter-Cam vids are my favorite row alongs--best of luck-peace out…
The comment about the wind was awesome! Are those types of winds unusual? I just started rowing (did the whole fall season with a 100% novice crew, winter erg training, and now some spring erg training/sometimes on the water), but our average wind speed in the great plains of the United States has been 15-20 mph winds. It's been bad enough we have only been out on our lake a handful of times in the last two months sadly (oftentimes we've had 40 mph winds). I guess it's good we're all learning to row singles/doubles/pairs/8s in the crap conditions now?
The type of wind isn't super unusual but racing in the those conditions is. Depending on the location, a small amount of wind may make conditions worse vs a lot of wind at another location. Usually the race would be postponed or cancelled with those conditions. Definitely good to get out and work on bad conditions as some races will still go ahead in them as you saw!
Did you know that the Yamborghini name yet to be determined has colours (Orange, blue) very similar to the current McLaren F1 cars? Their colour has traditionally been orange, back when the team was founded by Bruce McLaren. So how about Bruce as the name? I think there was once a famous Scot of the same name too...
Eri qui!!! Se sapevo guardavo e seguivo la tua regata!!!!
Anche io in passato ho fatto il memorial d'Aloja!!!!

Been really fun to film these videos! Think it comes through in the final edit!
Totally agree 👍
cam you're such an inspiration to the rowing community. love the videos, keep it up.
What a cliffhanger! I wanted to see the race too!!! I had to watch the pieces on 2X to make it feel like it was the race ...🤣
Great to see the van being used the way you intended. All that work, and it seems like the perfect solution.
Great video, Cameron. Sculling looks sharp and powerful.

Thank you!
Cam, use water (spray) under the vinyl to position it and then rub it with a cloth so it sticks or credit card like plastic card.
Best vids for a long time ! Well played Cam 🔥

If you heat the film you should be able to stretch it around all of the tough places and you should be able to do it in one piece
I saw you on the last day you were cleaning the boat and I was with my sister but I was ashamed to ask you for the photo. Hello
