I had this procedure last week, it was over an hour and the doctor was gossiping about office drama with the nurse the whole time, I was shaking on the table and they laughed when I said I was having anxiety. I'm rewriting that memory with this one, such a soothing and kind way to approach something scary. Thank u for this, amazing timing.

I remember when I was like 10 or 11 I had to get surgery on my knee and I was super scared cuz I was separated from my Mom and had no clue where I was or what was happening. I was in a room with a few nurses and my doctor I had been seeing for my knee and she was explaining what was gonna happen and reassuring me that I wouldn't feel anything and that'd it be like a really long nap. She even held my hand and counted down with me before she put me to sleep. She was most certainly right, it was a very nice nap and I woke up super disoriented and freaked out, but the doctor beside me who was typin up stuff gave me a teddy bear. 10/10 surgery ✨💖✨
