The Karera mv is actually the most personal mv they've done as it actually shows their personal struggles, that's why at some point during the video, you said something about them being genuine, because the girls showed their vulnerability in it. The group was launched during the pandemic, so you can only imagine the struggles they've gone through. Thus, Karera is THAT song that showcases their journey. The mv circles mostly on the girls' self-doubt and how they just took their time, worked hard, and just carried on even when they're unsure of what the future holds for them....and here we are. Now, more people are recognizing them, not just as a typical "idol", but they've raised the standards of performing, especially here in the Philippines, as well as inspiring more people, as these girls are not only talented and hardworking, but they also are just being their authentic selves. I was so excited when I discovered BINI because I would be able to watch videos without subtitles ‘cause I could finally understand the language, but every time I watch their videos or live streams I sometimes can’t understand them cause they all talk at the same time😭. Either that or some of them speaks in another language or dialect that I can’t understand (p.s. There are 100+ languanges and about 111 dialects across the Philipine archipelago).
They have about 2 years of unfiltered video clips where they forget that they are on cam most of the time. What is crzy is that their management didn't force them into the usual idol image. Management let them say what they want to say and do whatever they want with their image

Instead of the Wish bus for Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi, I think she'd be better off watching the One Music Live performance on the BINI official channel first because that one has English captions. They also sang No Fear and Karera (I think) that same day. They may not be as good as the Wish bus performance but they're still good. For the covers, their performance of the OPM (Original Pilipino Music) song Unbound perhaps?
I agree with these. Karera a has an amazing dance break and the Lagi dance also has live vocals so you can see how much work they put into their craft how well they sing and dance at the same time.
I've been binge-watching reaction videos on BINI and I have to say yours is my favorite. I think watching the MV, wish bus performance, and dance practice on each songs will give you the complete story. Especially if you're just discovering them. Since you get to see and feel more of their vocals and dance abilities. Personally, I think they have one of the strongest dance choreographies in the industry; the formations and transitions are so visually pleasing. I also got really drawn to them due to their vocal and dance skills. I recommend Strings MV, dance practice, and wish bus performance if you want something more edgy. I also really like their Lagi vocal and dance practice. Karera dance practice is also a must! I really like the dance break on Karera.

4:38 the reason this is so satisfying is because the singer is doing a slight run, she’s in her head voice and going from D5 -> C5 -> Bb5 in quick succession, which is extremely difficult and needs lots of vocal control. i can’t get enough of that part specifically.

To add, in your video you noticed their diction, especially their R's. That's because the Filipino language is heavily influenced by Spanish when we were colonized hence the enunciation. Also, English is a strong second language or even first language for a lot of Filipinos which also explains their diction :)

In the process, the performance is also recorded for upload into their channel so netizens like us can watch and listen to the content as many times as we want. Everything is done by just one take because it was a live broadcast after all at the time the artists do their performance. Thus, the artists need to perform at their best and without mistakes as much as possible. Those that happen to screw up can not expect their performance to make it into the Wish Bus channel and will most likely just remain in the archives. 😅
BINI is one of the group that's better with a live performance. Check out their vocals at the 107.5 WishBus. Also, they might not have a crazy dance, but BINI has a clean synchronized choreography and formation that even dance reactor gave them a good feedback. Interestingly, some of the members have zero to only basic knowledge of singing and dancing when they started at during audition. A lot of practice, plenty of sweat, tears, and injury really made them ready for any performance. Please include "I feel good" and "Strings" in your next reaction.

You should watch their ‘Wish bus’ live performance. Vocally you would enjoy them. They sound really well live and the harmonies will melt your ears. One of their dance practice have live vocals and it’s pretty impressive
It's not really an actual "rap" it's just a melodic phrasing/fast phrasing of words(considered 'rap' part for idol group performance). If you're a foreigner, you'll feel like they're saying a bunch of words/lines but in reality those were only just 2-3 lines. Tagalog words usually have many syllables and firm vowel sounds. They only need to manipulate the diction, either fast or slow to match the tempo of the tune.
All the mv you’ve watch are connected. Bini comes from the word “BiniBini” which means young ladies. They were making songs to inspire us especially us, the youngster. You should watch there stories about their lives. As far as I know, Aiah is the eldest, she’s the main rapper and visual of the groyp. Colet is the main vocal, lead dancer and lead rapper. Maloi is their main vocal, on the other hand, their lead vocal, lead rapper is Gwen. Stacey is main rapper and lead dancer. Mikha is Main rapper, lead dancer and visual. Jhoanna is the second of the youngest but she is the leader of the group, lead vocal and lead rapper, and our bebe Sheena, the youngest is their main dancer. The song that got me in this rabbit hole is Pantropiko but when I heard Karera, it became my favorite song of BINI. IDK how to explain it but it gave warmth that makes you wake up and strive hard in everyday life. Tagalog has a very strong diction that adds flavor to the song specially in raps. but sometimes when translated to other languages, it sometimes doesn't feel that too accurate.
filipino language in general has alot of long words with strong and heavy consonant (examples are words like " Nakapagtataka, nakakapagpabagabag, tagapagtanggol etc). they are pretty much tongue twister words which helps in good diction and makes it easier for filipinos to rap in multi syllabic rap styles.
The Filipino language is naturally melodic, so when put in a song and a rap verse it sounds good. A lot of words have different meetings and sometimes have double-take. I really love that BINI plays with the language in their songs, because many young Filipinos speak in modern tagalog-english mix. Their songs is making young people appreciate and try to learn our own language and even the deep formal words.
BINI's "Strings" music video is a lot edgier if that's what you're looking for. For an edgy P-Pop girl group you can try looking a G-22 and their singles "Boomerang" and "Bang"
I find it genuinely so nice that these girls are getting the love and recognition they deserve. They've truly worked so hard. They are all Filipinas! Mikha (red hair) is 1/4 Chinese, but that's about it. She and her family are Filipinos. They are very loud, happy, talented, and an overall charismatic group. their rap parts are definitely talent but also you're right, the language itself adds a punching element to rapping. tagalog enunciates the consonants harder that is maybe why it hits more. i quite like your interpretation of karera. in terms of their concept, they are leaning towards bubblegum pop recently, with vibrant colors and bright sounding songs. but you must know that they have dabbled into other genres throughout their discography. i think it's worth checking out! with dance practices, i believe that's what you need to react to in the next videos for the same lineup of these songs as well. they are very good. but i think you also make a fair point that the Filipino language also plays a part. we repeat a lot of repeating syllables when we conjugate our verbs and that makes it sound more rhythmic (onomatopoeic?)which sounds good in raps and in singing in general

The Karera mv is actually the most personal mv they've done as it actually shows their personal struggles, that's why at some point during the video, you said something about them being genuine, because the girls showed their vulnerability in it. The group was launched during the pandemic, so you can only imagine the struggles they've gone through. Thus, Karera is THAT song that showcases their journey. The mv circles mostly on the girls' self-doubt and how they just took their time, worked hard, and just carried on even when they're unsure of what the future holds for them....and here we are. Now, more people are recognizing them, not just as a typical "idol", but they've raised the standards of performing, especially here in the Philippines, as well as inspiring more people, as these girls are not only talented and hardworking, but they also are just being their authentic selves. You'd love these chaotic young women.😅❤

I was so excited when I discovered BINI because I would be able to watch videos without subtitles ‘cause I could finally understand the language, but every time I watch their videos or live streams I sometimes can’t understand them cause they all talk at the same time😭. Either that or some of them speaks in another language or dialect that I can’t understand (p.s. There are 100+ languanges and about 111 dialects across the Philipine archipelago).

I cant wait for you to see their dance practices. This group, by far is the cleanest and most synchronized girl group in terms of dancing that I have ever seen. Their formations and steps aren’t easy peasy either.

Instead of the Wish bus for Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi, I think she'd be better off watching the One Music Live performance on the BINI official channel first because that one has English captions. They also sang No Fear and Karera (I think) that same day. They may not be as good as the Wish bus performance but they're still good.
For the covers, their performance of the OPM (Original Pilipino Music) song Unbound perhaps?

I agree with these. Karera a has an amazing dance break and the Lagi dance also has live vocals so you can see how much work they put into their craft how well they sing and dance at the same time.
I've been binge-watching reaction videos on BINI and I have to say yours is my favorite. I think watching the MV, wish bus performance, and dance practice on each songs will give you the complete story. Especially if you're just discovering them. Since you get to see and feel more of their vocals and dance abilities. Personally, I think they have one of the strongest dance choreographies in the industry; the formations and transitions are so visually pleasing. I also got really drawn to them due to their vocal and dance skills.
I recommend Strings MV, dance practice, and wish bus performance if you want something more edgy. I also really like their Lagi vocal and dance practice. Karera dance practice is also a must! I really like the dance break on Karera.

4:38 the reason this is so satisfying is because the singer is doing a slight run, she’s in her head voice and going from D5 -> C5 -> Bb5 in quick succession, which is extremely difficult and needs lots of vocal control. i can’t get enough of that part specifically.
The grit and crispiness in how Filipinos rap might be attributed to the language itself (syllabication) and how Filipinos express life through music and poetry (rapping included) - Watch their Wish Bus performances as a testament to this and their vocal prowess (BINI in particular). But also try to watch their dance practices where they showcase their skills on the dance floor and their other MVs, Strings, Born to Win, etc, for the other side of BINI.

To add, in your video you noticed their diction, especially their R's. That's because the Filipino language is heavily influenced by Spanish when we were colonized hence the enunciation. Also, English is a strong second language or even first language for a lot of Filipinos which also explains their diction :)

In the process, the performance is also recorded for upload into their channel so netizens like us can watch and listen to the content as many times as we want. Everything is done by just one take because it was a live broadcast after all at the time the artists do their performance. Thus, the artists need to perform at their best and without mistakes as much as possible. Those that happen to screw up can not expect their performance to make it into the Wish Bus channel and will most likely just remain in the archives. 😅
BINI is one of the group that's better with a live performance. Check out their vocals at the 107.5 WishBus. Also, they might not have a crazy dance, but BINI has a clean synchronized choreography and formation that even dance reactor gave them a good feedback.
Interestingly, some of the members have zero to only basic knowledge of singing and dancing when they started at during audition. A lot of practice, plenty of sweat, tears, and injury really made them ready for any performance.

It's not really an actual "rap" it's just a melodic phrasing/fast phrasing of words(considered 'rap' part for idol group performance). If you're a foreigner, you'll feel like they're saying a bunch of words/lines but in reality those were only just 2-3 lines. Tagalog words usually have many syllables and firm vowel sounds. They only need to manipulate the diction, either fast or slow to match the tempo of the tune.

Definitely check out their live wishbus performances for vocals AND Harmonies! and their dance practice is no joke too - it’s not as emphasized in the music videos but they’re really good at dancing! The reason why so many of us Blooms (fandom) love them is because they are so talented in each category.
Also, I have a feeling you would like Born to Win, Golden Arrow and Strings for a less cute, more gritty concept (their earlier songs actually)
The song that got me in this rabbit hole is Pantropiko but when I heard Karera, it became my favorite song of BINI. IDK how to explain it but it gave warmth that makes you wake up and strive hard in everyday life. @@Yetti.i think you’re gonna enjoy Strings because it sounds different from the other singles of BINI. It was released on a time when they were still exploring the sound that fits them. The song was a mix of hiphop and EDM
Tagalog has a very strong diction that adds flavor to the song specially in raps. but sometimes when translated to other languages, it sometimes doesn't feel that too accurate.
filipino language in general has alot of long words with strong and heavy consonant (examples are words like " Nakapagtataka, nakakapagpabagabag, tagapagtanggol etc). they are pretty much tongue twister words which helps in good diction and makes it easier for filipinos to rap in multi syllabic rap styles.
The Filipino language is naturally melodic, so when put in a song and a rap verse it sounds good. A lot of words have different meetings and sometimes have double-take. I really love that BINI plays with the language in their songs, because many young Filipinos speak in modern tagalog-english mix. Their songs is making young people appreciate and try to learn our own language and even the deep formal words.
BINI's "Strings" music video is a lot edgier if that's what you're looking for. For an edgy P-Pop girl group you can try looking a G-22 and their singles "Boomerang" and "Bang"
I find it genuinely so nice that these girls are getting the love and recognition they deserve. They've truly worked so hard. They are all Filipinas! Mikha (red hair) is 1/4 Chinese, but that's about it. She and her family are Filipinos. They are very loud, happy, talented, and an overall charismatic group. You'll love their dances, vocals, and personalities.

their rap parts are definitely talent but also you're right, the language itself adds a punching element to rapping. tagalog enunciates the consonants harder that is maybe why it hits more. i quite like your interpretation of karera.
in terms of their concept, they are leaning towards bubblegum pop recently, with vibrant colors and bright sounding songs. but you must know that they have dabbled into other genres throughout their discography. i think it's worth checking out! with dance practices, i believe that's what you need to react to in the next videos for the same lineup of these songs as well. Cherry on top dance practice is just released few hours ago! you'll enjoy them, they're quite great dancers and are known for their synchronization. personality-wise, i think the reason why their on-screen smiles are effective or not cringey is because they are genuinely happy, positive souls. you'll find that they each have unique personalities!

Dance practice next! They're one of the most synchronized groups you'll ever see especially the karera dance practice
they are very good. but i think you also make a fair point that the Filipino language also plays a part. we repeat a lot of repeating syllables when we conjugate our verbs and that makes it sound more rhythmic (onomatopoeic?)which sounds good in raps and in singing in general

Wow thank you for reacting to our girls they are built different most of Blooms describe their group as 8 dancers, 8 singers, 8 rapper and 8 chaotic group of friends 😂 they have non-existence idol image cause they are very much authentic and/or very true on and off cam. Those clips can be found here at TH-cam Bini core which came from their kumu live when they're living in one house during pandemic. They're sometimes describe as a group of friends who decided to be a total performers😂
When you asking if it was their talent or just something about the language this just feels punchy in the Karera vid, I think it's both. These girls are extraordinarily talented as well as just the language (Tagalog) itself just sounds really good for rap!
