Rest in peace Yavuz... ------------------ Lyrics ------------------ Would You Like To Fly With Me? Do you want to fly with me tonight? Are you afraid to be high up? Let's leave the earth for a while the earth doesn't run anywhere While we're swimming in the skies Come be with me, forget all your troubles The wind waits for us, let's not waste any more time Do you want to fly with me tonight? Are you afraid to be high up? Let's leave the earth for a while the world doesn't run anywhere While we're swimming in the skies Come be with me, forget all your troubles The wind waits for us, let's not waste any more time Come be with me, forget all your troubles The wind waits for us, let's not waste any more time
@@JohnCregoWorldMusic And I need to add an information that will make you sad: Yavuz Cetin committed suicide after finished this songs' records, he jumped from Bosphorus Bridge at Istanbul in 2001. So, please listen this song again after knowing this.
I did not know Yavuz Çetin. This piece is really excellent (as much for the guitar playing and the vocals which are very convincing as well as for the other participants!). I just listened to the entire Satılık album (from which "Benimle Uçmak İster Misin?" Is taken) and I really enjoyed it! nice discovery. As for Brian Eno, I've been listening to his ambient music for years (which I prefer overall to his early works, closer to rock or pop although in an unorthodox way). I don't think David Bowie and Brian Eno were very close (in the sense that Bowie and Iggy Pop were pals) but it is certain that Eno was a beneficial musical collaborator for Bowie at certain points in his career (from 1976 to 1979 then in 1994/95). Eno was also a source of inspiration and a collaborator for the Talking Heads between 1978 and 1981 and this is not surprising because his tracks from 1977 "No One Receiving", "Kurt's Rejoinder", "Backwater" & "King's Lead Hat" (an anagram for "Talking Heads") strongly anticipates the band's music.
l think if you like Yavuz Çetin also you should give a reaction for Şebnem ferah 10 March 2007 İstanbul concer ~Delgeç. She is Queen of Turkish rock music
Haha! No one knows exactly what is the meaning of dead finks, but Eno wrote the song to Bryan Ferry after Eno left Roxy. They both were in bad terms. Try with third uncle, also has a weird lyrics. Thanks bro!
Yeah, I tend to listen without getting all animated. It may not look like it but I'm hearing it. Some reactors get a bit carried away with themselves if you ask me.
King of turkish rock rest in peace.
Thanks for the video man! & R.I.P Yavuz...
Sure thing. I'm glad I finally discovered him.
Your reactions is so clear. This is real rocker reflex. I ilke it. Pure and clear, you are gentleman sir.👍🤘
Thank you. Yavuz was a true rocker. It's a shame he's no longer with us.
Rest in peace Yavuz...

You should check out his (Yavuz Çetin's) life too. His entire life(specially end...) has real blues.
Amazing!
The one by Eno is a bit reminiscent of Flash by Duke of Burlington.
R.I.P
Did anyone ever discover a reason for his suicide? What a terrible waste. And only 30 years old. Another one of those 'what could have been'.
@@JohnCregoWorldMusic he suffered from depression and bipolar disorder, Unfortunately he committed suicide from the Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul
@@JohnCregoWorldMusic there is documentary about him and his bandmate: th-cam.com/video/tP9z5idLZ2U/w-d-xo.html
