I collect Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, Rainbow High, LOL OMG, Na Na Na Surprise, Disney Princess Dolls and so many more! I love fashion dolls and I believe that dolls are the best toys for people to improve empathy and to explore their creativity!
tiara is the leader + visual + center, tessa is the main rapper + dancer and minnie is the main vocal and the face of the group. in kpop there used to be positions assigned to certain members but now, in the 4th gen, they don't assign positions anymore and often most members are all delegated to all rounder roles.
They're a trifecta now all members are instrumental, dance, and vocals atleast most are two out of 3
A few answers to some of your kpop-related questions, from a kpop stan:
Dances are definitely not just a girl group thing! Boy groups have specific choreography routines for their songs as well, and “catchy” dance parts will often become trends on Tiktok.
As for the physical albums, the whole package is just called an album. Inside the album, there will usually be a photobook which contains pictures and lyrics (this is what the booklets these dolls come with are modeled after) along with various other inclusions that differ depending on the album. Stickers have been very popular inclusions recently, and these may be random but aren’t always.
The most iconic “surprise element” of a kpop album is known as a photocard. Almost every kpop album nowadays will include at least one random photocard which contains a picture of a member of the group, usually a selfie. Kpop fans will often collect photocards for their favorite members, and some even try to collect cards for the whole group, which is another reason the physical albums are so popular. Think of it like Pokémon cards or baseball cards, but for music!
There are often different versions of albums as well. These usually contain the same content on the CD, but they will have different cover art, photobooks, and photocards.
As for why Tessa’s outfit is different from the others, it may be because her look was inspired by a different group, but it sometimes happens that there is one member in a group who is dressed a little differently than the others. This is an older group so probably not what the designers had in mind, but it makes me think of the girl group f(x). One member, Amber, typically had short hair and wore shorts and pants, while the other group members usually had long hair and wore skirts and dresses.

i know the situation with the color of skin in Korea is different than here in America, but shouldn't the dolls should be more pale to better represent idols?
I mean no hate, and if this comment is hateful I'm sorry I'll delete if needed, but my point is, usually idols are very pale because it is the Korean beauty standard.
this is not my personal view of the topic for real people, all skin tones are beautiful, so I'm commenting to know your opinion on that.
Also, kinda funny how rainbow high was very whitewashed back some years but this time they didn't do that.
@@PedroMDN not really because a lot of the photos be white washed don’t get me wrong there is some groups with pale members but not every member is pale
@@PedroMDN so true, Im Japanese, so I know that in Japan people bleach their skin to get as pale as possible. It would have been nice to see that accurately represented, just like how we wished the Dia de Los Muertos doll was more accurate to her culture and Lila Yamamoto was more Japanese (rather than make an excuse after that she is mixed)
Tessa is definitely inspired by Akali from K/DA. She is my new favorite Rainbow High doll.
My Minnie had no gel at all. Another thing, I feel that RH is more suitable for early teens and adults. That being said, I also feel that these would make a child learn to be careful and respect the artistry of the doll, like the days before plastic when kids did try to not break or destroy the dolls.
I'm probably the only doll collector that prefers shorter hair on my dolls. I would give my Barbies a short bob when I got bored as a kid. It's much easier to maintain. My favorite dolls in my collection have shorter hair.

For the thing you asked about kpop albums , yes they do have different versions and surprise elements to them ,there is mainly a thing called photocards which are 'Cards" with photos of the group members which are random ,thought albums might contain other randomized items in them. btw i love your channel so much! :)

Plan on going to Walmart later this week for Demi but might snatch Minnie too. Saw my grandma watching a Blackpink video cause her friends granddaughters been showing them videos and she noticed the tiara right away lol

For Tessa, her look was ment to be inspired by a combo of sporty, traditional element infused men wear, and her color story to match in with the group. The use of black, and the pearl shimmer from the material pieces keep the group in uniform but also seperate in the line-up style wise from how Rainbow Divas are presented.

i only have minnie out of the three and (weirdly enough) it's because i'm a fan of this boy group stray kids and upon first seeing minnie both her tops reminded me so much of some of their outfits for the special performances they do for year-end awards ceremonies, hahaha. your review was a big part in me mustering up the courage to get her myself and now i'm on the slippery slope of watching more videos and getting interested in more dolls! keep up the good work 🎊
I really like all 3, and I'm not big into kpop so I've not got a lot of kpop knowledge (i have listened to some here and there) but I'm thinking tessa is kind of like the sporty spice of the group and the other two are the more girly girls like baby spice and posh spice. At least that's the way I look at it. Spice girls have always been my number one favorite girl band.
Also, I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with all the releases as well. I just recently put a good handful of my them into storage because I'm running out of room.
I've contemplated only collecting the purple dolls as a way to limit myself (purple is my favorite color), but so far it hasn't worked out that way, oops lol.
This is the only Rainbow Vision group I was interested in getting (Only need tiara now) hopefully she's still there after it's revealed that the three won. Love them!!!
My Tessa has gel, But i removed her tail and let her hair down and after that i combed her hair and removed the gel. I love Tessa Park she is georges and my favorite character from rainbow high the royal 3. 🤩🤩

I got Tiara. I love that MGA is making Asian dolls. Meena is beautiful and so are these dolls. As a woman who loves history, ethnic studies is very interesting to me! Now if MGA will make a dark skinned boy (Emerald McNabb) I will be very happy 😊 I haven't gotten into Black Pink but I love BTS!

wither the dolls are for adult collector's or children, the company has to win over the majority adult buyers to purchase there items- its there money after all! I'm a new adult collector (I'm 43) and I love SH/RH and started out collecting OMG's.
I love washing/styling the hair and mixing the outfits from other dolls as I have quite the collection! 🙂Very therapeutic to do while watching TV etc etc.

I started getting selective around winter break! I only buy one or two from every series now, anyone pink is a must for me. Canadian prices aren't really sustainable, and the costume ball girlies might not even come here since they're Walmart exclusives and Walmart is a mess. I really want Bella, Violet and the werecat girl!

I have a hard time dressing them myself. My kids are are way young, so I definitely do the shoe swaps. But I definitely feel like they are more mature dolls due to the fact they are more like ‘look at me dolls’ rather than ‘play with me dolls’ something about the clothes. But agin my oldest is 5. Even though they aren’t destructive, but they are still small kids… 😅 No matter my youngest asked for her very own doll collection, and she don’t want rainbow high, no no no, she decided she’s a Barbie girl. So there goes my doll budget. But I’m happy that means my RH dolls will continue to be safe since I am a completionist. Just have to take it one doll at a time 😊 but people who buy more than one or two big brands. I truly find amazing 😮 I couldn’t even have the energy to hunt that many dolls let alone the funds. I would be stressing too

I have to be discriminating about my doll budget too. So far, I only have Minnie of The Three. I’m not planning to get any of the Rainbow High costume ball dolls, however the Shadow high costume dolls are tempting (hoping for a good sale after Halloween). I want at least one of each of the G3 Monster High characters, I really like them.

I ordered the new G3 Draculaura and Lagoona today.
They are 25 USD each on Amazon, but with the shipping and import fees, they are over 45 USD each. But because of the exchange rate they are actually 60 USD each.
(And with normal jobs being 800 USD a month? That's a steal.)

Have you noticed Tiara's tiara? I don't blame you for not being into K-Pop though, I'm a former fan and it's very toxic there, but Tiara's accessoire is inspired by the tiara on Blackpink's first full album ''The Album'' which was released in 2020. I love that detail about her

I concur that Fate the Winx saga is not bringing back Winx, but being that fact that it might be the only thing we get, I love it. Also if you look at it separately, like a re-telling (Mulan animated/Mulan live action) vs a remake (Beauty and the Beast animation/Beauty and the Beast live action), it's a good show with good production and story line. I was really surprised how much I liked it.

I have been waiting for a review on these. I can't afford them so I enjoy and settle for watching your reviews. They are so beautiful. I'm not really into kpop but i love the concept. Minnie is my favorite mainly cuz of pink is a favorite of mine. That's why i love bella too. I would love to own them someday.

Minnie is the only one that I have of the royal 3 but she's definitely my favorite I just love the color pink she is and I love the makeup on her it's beautiful I will eventually probably get the other two but I'm waiting for them to go on sale I got minnie on sale so that was awesome.
If they cost more than $30 I normally wait till they go on sale because I just can't afford to purchase them at 40, 50, and beyond! I feel that rainbow high is definitely geared towards teen and adult collectors I feel like lol surprise dolls are more geared towards children . That's just my opinion though I have no idea if that's any at all true. Your nails are beautiful by the way have a wonderful holidays as well:-)

With any band now a days so much merch and craft opportunity with the packaging and magazines I normally don't wear jewelry but I will wear on vacation or concert and since I already had the pink mini tree It just made sense to put it on the tree even a build a bears and blankets pillows perfume dolls clothes drinkware everything you can think of as merchandise

The word you want is iridescent. From the goddess of the rainbow - Iris. A good way to remember it is that the Light Fairy in Pixie Hollow is Iridessa. (Rainbows are, of course, light.) In your defense, many holographic products are iridescent. Honest mistake.

Like always, I really enjoy ur videos 💕 I do like these dolls BUT as you were saying, these dolls keep coming soo fast lol. Im only getting Minnie and pretty much that’s what I do. I only get the ones that I most like for manny reasons Money, space and Money 😁 Only few of my dolls I have bought at reg price, like all 6 Shadow High Dolls and few others. But now I’m checking for good deals only on the ones I really want to add to my slowly growing collection😉
I have to say, I'm glad Rainbow High wasn't around for anyone to try to give me one as a child because my fine motor skills were so bad I often had to rage quit on redressing Barbies. Even now I can barely handle some of the RH clothes.
I agree there's definitely way too many dolls coming out at this price point, so I try to wait for things to go to clearance, and I don't even have all of the series 3 dolls I want yet. My plan for the Rainbow Vision girls is to only get my favorite from each band (Tessa, Sabrina, and Uma) and even then, my goal is to wait it out and try to get those 3 for $80 total or less.
I know what you mean about Tessa with the leather trousers 😆. And like you say I think a lot of us may have to really think which dolls we want instead of just blanket buying them. Plus of course many of these dolls haven’t come out in the uk so that helps the £ pounds

You should take your time with the unboxing and reviews. A lot of international doll collectors don't get the dolls at the same time as the American ones. I just got my Royal 3 last week
