A successful corn harvest requires proper fertilization methods. The Anhydrous Ammonia Addon adds Anhydrous Ammonia for fertilization, as well as appropriate storage and purchase containers.

Anhydrous ammonia (NH3) is the foundation for all nitrogen (N) fertilizers. Although almost 80 percent of the earth’s atmosphere is comprised of nitrogen,
it is not in a chemically and biologically usable form for plants. Using a complex method called the Haber-Bosch process, nitrogen is captured from the air,
combined with a hydrogen source and converted into a form that can be used by growing plants. Ammonia in this form is also known as ammonia gas or
anhydrous (“without water”) ammonia. Though more expensive than standard liquid fertilizers, at a nitrogen concentration of 82%, it is the most
effective way to fertilize crops demanding high nitrogen.
NOTE: By default, this mod allows for anhydrous to be applied using the SamsonAgro pgII35m Slurry tanker and SD700 cultivator injector.
While not required, the ExactRate 8RX Tanks will support anhydrous; the mod has also been prepared to allow anhydrous to be filled to the John Deere 1775NT 2022 planter.
Some implements will NOT show the anhydrous fill icon in the shop, however they will accept anhydrous.

Idenfity the propduct being stored by adjusting tank decals between Anhydrous and Liquid Fertilizer.
*Change tank decals by standing at the exclamation mark and hold the "Next Decal" for roughly 2 seconds.
Any implements of type 'fertilizingCultivator' or 'fillableImplement' with ability to store liquids or pull a liquid caddy will automatically accept anhydrous, or with any implement, such as a toolbar, that is properly configured for anhydrous.
The anhydrous.lua file contains many base game sprayers/injectors that can be enabled by simply uncommenting the appropriate lines. Additionally, there is an example of how to enable an existing mod to allow for anhydrous to be accepted as a filltype.

This is a really interesting looking mod, probably not something I'd use myself as I don't often play on US maps (and I don't think it would really fit on maps I do from a roleplay / story aspect) but I do love seeing this sort of thing coming to Farm Sim! It definitely brings another element of realism and optional alternative gameplay which is important and only serves to help grown and improve the game! Thank you for showing this mod and how to edit it Farmer Klein , and thankyou Fusion Simulations for bringing this into the game!

Hi. Great clear, measured review as ever. I always wait for a review from Farmer Klein if I'm unsure of how a mod works. Quick question. I have already installed the other Anhydrous PF ready mod that comes with the toolbar and tow behind tanks. I'd much prefer using this mod as it's on the Mod Hub and I don't need to keep checking for updates. Will the toolbar just work straight off with this mod because it's AH ready or do they still need adding to the mod to make them compatible with it? I think this mod is better in that you're not stuck to applying AH at cultivation stage and can apply after planting as well with a slurry injector. Presume that's slightly more realistic than using a spreader. Thanks
I am planning a follow up video might even come out today showing a few mods that are realistic that work with this or that I made work with this. For the mod your using all I can say is to try it on your test save. everyone should have a test save to test mods before taking them into their main saves.

(watched a FarmsimGuy video a couple of weeks ago, preview of Anhydrous Toolbars-mod, and thought this was the released version)
The mod as its released on the mod hub includes no vehicles or tools. If you go to the shop and then mods & dlc's there is nothing for the Anhydrous mod itself the only thing included is the placeable storage tank. Unless more mods come on the mod hub players are at this point on their own to find more realistic transport tanks and applicators.

Is there a way to mod plows like the John Deere 2410 to pull a tank like the one from forward ag so it can be applied like we do in the US

You probably could IF you knew a few things around how to define the file path to the pdlc file and the name of the xml within the pdlc file. Im thinking you could extract that from the vehicles.xml in the save game folder if you purchased one and then saved the game. Then put that path in as I showed.

you dont extract the files just put the mod in the mods folder Documents\My Games\Farming Simulator 22\mods
Funny how the description didn’t say how lethal Anhydrous Ammonia is. It would’ve been a nice detail. Plus it’ll strip the paint of your vehicle in super short order. Of course if you’re in the vehicle you won’t live long enough to notice.
Anhydrous is no joke. Dad was knifing in anhydrous, a line snapped without him knowing, and he was downwind. Thankfully he was able to walk away with minimal medical issues. Had he not been paying attention, he would not be with us today.
Why can’t the modelers just change it to liquid fertilizer for consoles?
What if the mods are in a custom mod folder?
If you have told the game where your mod folder is located it wont mater.
I hope they add compost in a future update.
I'm curious, why compost?
my guess is compost is one of the other filltypes that gets added to a map that players can use as fertilizer using a manure spreader and in 19 required using a specially prepared Precision Farming. It can be a cheap way to add nitrogen to the soil when you dont have animals to make manure as well as a commodity that could then be sold on some maps.
I know this is off topic but I have an interesting and very frustrating problem on the Umbreon Valley map.I just started it today and I am just under five hours into playing on it and the DEMOLISH option in the construction menu has completely stopped working.I have done everything I can think of to try to make it work to no avail.If there is anyone out there on this map BE CAREFUL.I don't know if it's my map that I'm playing on or a bug in the game map itself,just be careful placing items because my option to remove anything disappeared without any warning.Any help to resolve this would be a great help.I just wanted to throw a warning about this out there to let people know about this.
I believe you have to do it from the landscaping option now, from what I've read from others. Hope that helps!

This is not a realistic mod.
Since the AA can not be stored in a slurry tank, at all, in real life.
AA is a liquid gas, and needs special tanks (and special build harrow to inject it)
Also the transport tank on the truck, AA can't be stored in a normal liquid tanker.
While you are technically correct, that's not what the mod is about. The unrealistic slurry-tanker-hold-and-applies-anhydrous is just a tech-demo. The important part of the mod is to bring anhydrous to the base game, apply certain data to every map and to enable it as a valid fertilizer, even in precision farming.
Now other modders can create proper high pressure tanks, application bars and so on, not worrying about all the details. Just specify this mod as a dependency - bang, done.
You install the anhydrous equipment mod you like (when they come out at a later date), game prompts you it also needs this mod, and presto, everything works, even on non-anhydrous-ready maps.
Its clear this is a comment warrior who comments on videos with out watching their contents first. What I found disappointing is in the mod listing there is an image of a pressure tank trailer that I wished was part of the mod. But your exactly correct in that ths is the framework that allows anhydrous to be used universally on any map. Then you can add realistic mods once you find them via the method shown in the video.
@@FarmerKlein I guess this is the first tip of the iceberg of all the work by all the modders in the anhydrous realm, FSG had some videos on stuff.
But i was quickly confused what would be released by who and where and work with what.
A simultaneous release with an implement would have been great, maybe that was even planed (that's the reason for the screenshot?), like production revamp is split in two, but hey, at least something is coming, better piecemeal then never.
