Loving the Daytona content, I bought mine a week ago in black. My guess would be that on the official Triumph site it's called either Shift Assist, or Quickshifter (without dash, and no space).
Terry Great video Sir! Heated grips are a must have on any bike. I think with all the addon's you are putting on the Daytona you are getting pretty close to converting it into a Tiger Sport 660! LOL! Ride SAFE and BE safe Sir! 👍👍
I've been riding motorcycles summer and winter since 1973 and never used heated grips. In May I bought a used SV650. The previous owner is 76 and had mounted heated grips. I'm only 66 and see no use for them. I consider using their power supply for an extra USB connection. It seems more useful to me to charge my compressor or power bank on my summer camping trips.
@@fuglbird not all grips electrics work in the same way. You may find the power is not a reliable source adhering to a standard 12v outlet. I’d leave it well alone and just run another cable from the battery or low cost power distribution block. But go on, treat yourself to some heated grip usage this winter 😄.
@@SteveG-x8w You got it Steve 😀! Send me a full postal address to my email address posted on my channel header and I’ll get that pin right out to you. 👍
I'm surprised they didn't insist on 'dealer activation', it being a canbus system. The QS needs dealer activation on the tiger 660, i suspect the daytona is the same
Yes, dealer had to do the QS, no choice there. I had a feeling the grips would be fine as the socket was dedicated to the grips so no mucking about and upsetting the wiring.
@@terenceokeeffesmotorcyclestuff I'm going to customise my seat and I saw a selfie stick mounted to the pillion foot pegs on another channel that impressed me. Will probably customise the fairing too
Yup, agreed definitely Triumph Shift Assist Kit 😊

@@Szabinger Thanks. Yes, Triumph call it a shift assist on their configurator. 👍

That thought had occurred to me ! 😂. Take it easy my friend.
How old are you Terry? I've ridden motorcycles since 1973 and never needed heated grips. Get yourself som nice gloves.

Hi Tel, I do like the comedy moments in your videos 👍 is the issue to win the prize that your last video was numbered 8 instead of 9?

What video shows the fairing removal you mention in this video?
I wonder if a heated seat would complete the package
Or a combo heated comfort seat 🤪.
