A reminder of Violet Evergarden; one of the most impacting animes I've seen that's personally affected me, because I've been in her place, as a former soldier, who knows almost nothing else besides being a soldier... I saw this picture, and I know I feel like her on the inside. The turmoil, the confusion, the blood and tears... and then... just trying to go back to 'being human' again... Some people just... can't. That's what the military does, what war does. Once we become this? It's almost impossible to stop being this. Violet Evergarden... is every soldier who ever marched; every soldier who ever fought; every soldier who ever bled blood for their country, regardless of side; every soldier who won and lost. In the end, we all bleed... And Violet Evergarden is our wish... a wish to be innocent again, knowing we can't ever be that again. Yet, we can rise and be something different.
Like to Violet Evergarden, she turned to scripting. I had skill in writing, and like her, I turned to it to keep me going. I hope one day my own writing will affect someone just as deeply. And this music inspires me from head to toe to compose... something both fantastic and epic.

Violet Evergarden is by far one of the greatest anime that I have ever had the pleasure of watching and I will always love its art, music, and meaning.
Am I the only one expecting a pump-me-up song 10 seconds in, and ended up in tears by minute 1? Absolutely breathtaking.

I was crying at first because of how tired i am of living but now i’m crying because my best friend made me feel lived after years of feeling lonely, hated and a waste of space
This was the one song from last year that I wasn't completely happy with the production. So for the Level 11 album version we made a few tweaks to bring out (to my ears) its full potential. Here is the list of changes:
Rebalancing of bass guitar/ kick drum low end frequencies to create a more dynamic groove.
Guitar EQ adjusted for a warmer, fatter sound.
Some vocal volume levels adjusted slightly.
Adjusted kick drum click to feel more natural and be slightly louder.
Snare drum adjusted & EQ-d to have fewer distracting harmonic overtones and fit into the groove better.
Some overall mix & master EQ & compression adjustments to create a more full, balanced sounding production.

During "End of the Line" I kept expecting the "Now we are free" motif from Gladiator... But then it held true, reminded me we are still fighting, and gave me strength.
I got chills when listening to this.
Her disheveled hair fell along her outstretched arms as she clutched the shining gem in her metallic hand. Held together by tiny wires and cabling, it creaked and popped as the fingers moved. An old relic from the past war, it was an outdated and used. It needed oiling to maintain its integrity, but Violet didn’t care. Her thoughts weren’t in maintaining her prosthetic arm, or even her tangled hair falling in places. It was the reminiscent memories of the one she loved, his life lost not too long ago. The turquoise gem, shining stubbornly through the scuffs and scratches held her dearly departed within it of memories and love. She was tired of war. Tired of death and famine, and all the senseless murder in the name of victory. Violet has seen happiness in the smallest of corners, and the many years war has plagued the land with. ‘What was the point?’ She always asked herself. ‘Are we the right side? Is death the answer? Are they evil or are we?’ So many questions she knew had no answer.
The gem reflected the early mornings sunlight as if on cue, reminding her that all is not lost. There’s more to this world than battlefronts and opposition. There is love and laughter; happiness and friendship; the stress of where to eat with the one you love. ‘All is not lost,’ She reminded not only herself, but His fleeting memory.

Violent Evergarden is something I can never forget. The emotions welled up in me while watching this anime is unexplainable.
Not only that but it was a visually stunning master piece. The memory of the vivid colours and background is another unforgettable part.

I was given immorality.
Of course at first I simply wanted to test the limits of what this immortality meant. But I was immortal and invincible. I enjoyed it for awhile. And at some point the entire world knew of my existence. Everyone worshipped me in a way and scientist couldn't wait to get their hands on me. I suddenly lost track of time. All of a sudden humanity was beyond earth and had inhabited many solar systems. All of a sudden everyone was immortal in a sense. Everyone was a computer in a way. And then human emotions died. I started wondering if this was really what I wanted. Then as soon as that question was born... the Universe dies. There was nothing anywhere. It was so dark... so empty... so cold. It was then I knew... that I knew that this would happen from the second I became immortal. But back then I wasn't worried. Because I had all the time in the Universe before it happened.
It hurt... but I was immortal.
This is the pain of being immortal... the pain of existing forever. But still something inside me felt like there was more to everything. I mean something had to have made me immortal right?

Yet for longer than an amount of time that you could describe with words I was there. Wherever there was. There was nothing... nothing at all. It wasn't even cold anymore. It got to the point where every thought felt years apart. All I had wanted was to be different.

violet was a very misunderstood girl... they took her off the streets away form what could been a healthy liveing experence even if she was only an orphan... what war does.. people become desperate... and thats what happend an innocent girl wtih a small sliver of a chance at life yanked into war and handed a gun just to become a deadly master assassin with a gun for the military.... its unforgiveable... but gilbert... gilbert is the ture hero for what he did for violet.... even though he was beleive to be dead he had to die becuse of the attachment violet had for him and not in the way she wanted to feel the phrase " i love you" he wanted her to know and feel emotions after the heartless and cruel thing they turned her into... unable to feel pain... its then refnidng him that sliver of hope.. to discover her feelings for gilbert.... its then she felt his pain reuniteing wtih her... that sceene for ever burned inside my heart how they reunite will allways warm my soul.... weather its war or what they seen her as ... shes still human in the end... and she deserves to be happy... thats all gilbert wanted for her

I thought that I won't be hold by anything.....I thought that I will stand tall....my God......please help me.....if I stay down then my entire struggle would turn to be meaningless.....I really gave it my all....I hoped that I can save the world but.......it was even more further away from me..... behind the lines of the enemies.....this can't be everything I have inside of me , am I this weak ? But at least if I fall for good then my struggle should deliver a very important message that is to never give up..... people must keep fighting for what is right.....I'm not gonna blame anyone for the moment but I will blame those who will receive the message and stay still without doing anything about what is happening.
