You know, watching this after seeing Blade Runner for the first time a couple days ago, I'm really noticing its influence on some of the visuals. Some of those wall textures look like they were taken from Deckard's Apartment.

Perfect visuals and ambiance sounds from a legendary N64 FPS, thanks for the upload Agent 00G and I hope we get to see more like this in future videos.
Nice work -it really shows the sound design. By the way, if you ever want a tough perfect dark challenge livestream, a no kill or minimum kills run would be an interesting challenge. Seeing you knock out the guard reminded me the non-lethal mechanics in that game.
I really like the ost of this level, but the way you played it in this video without the music and without the hud, gave the gameplay a denser atmosphere.
I had an idea similar to this kicking around years ago (like 2015 or thereabouts) to do longplays and adjust the audio levels so that you heard the music more than the other sfx. Some of the games I had in mind were 16 bit era, so the soundscapes weren't on the same level as something like PD, but seeing this I think to myself "alright, that's also a cool idea too, and a nice way for others to experience a game they may not be able to"

Actually a serious challenge
my favorite track from the entire game. This and GoldenEye's Egypt theme is what i use for my alarms on my phone.
Always enjoy this series as it really highlights the gameplay and ambiance. This is a level that's filled with a life of its own.

dude it is NUTS that they got material with fidelity this high crammed onto such a tiny cartridge

Not possible. You can't mod the XBLA version, and it controls so much worse it wouldn't be as smooth.

@@codezero7981 XBLA has a 45% deadzone on the aiming stick. Attempts to do smooth, slow movements would result on jumpy camera movements.
