@Riz P kinda hard to explain since its a kind of personal matter that everyone thinks of differently. but i think they're referring to the feelings and mindsets and, well, happiness i guess that comes with youth and fades away slowly as you age. the idea is that in heaven you get all of that feeling back, but thats just my interpretation. i encourage you to find your own that works for you and your experiences

On the subject of coincidences to lost things, something in life I’ve often found amusing is when you experience losing something, finally giving up on it and moving on, maybe buying a new one, then what seems like immediately, you find the thing you lost, but absolutely no longer need it.

Then there's this curious phenomenon called hiding in plain sight where the object you're trying to find is right there in front of you but, for some reason, you don't see it and continue to look high and low. And then, in the fullness of time, your eyes alight on it and you go "I don't frickin' BELIEVE it!"

Went to get the scissors, from the top drawer. They were there a week ago, I saw them !. Guess what...yep, not there anymore. After "looking everywhere", rechecked the drawer....and there they were!! How, is this even possible? No, I did not miss them the first time...😂

He missed the part that I often do: "Let's see? What am I looking for now? Car keys!! Maybe I have forgotten what they look like? Small, silver pieces of metal, hooked on to the key ring, leather flap and black plastic with car opener button. Yea, probably already looked at them and didn't recognize them. Better start over again."

The older I get, the weirder the places I actually find stuff I just put down.
Particularly when I used to drink heavily.
Every morning I'd wake up, hung over to hell, doing the check.
Keys, wallet, phone, anyone else in bed with me...
My phone and wallet were always nearby.
    My keys?
For some reason my keys were always, without fail, in the egg compartment of the fridge.
    No idea why.
    These days it's my glasses.
    I have three pairs.
    Distance, Reading and sunglasses.
I'll frequently raise the distance glasses, put the reading glasses on and five minutes later be unable to find my distance glasses even tho they are on top of my head.
My dad was the same, decades ago.
That man kept doing that, losing his glasses.
So he bought 7 pairs of glasses.
    7!
One for each room in the house.
One day we caught him tearing the place apart, looking for his glasses.
He had all 7 on his head.

I lost my car keys... while I was sat in my car! I had just driven to work. I took the keys out of the ignition. I then went to grab my bag & knocked the keys out of my hand against the gear lever. I put my bag on the floor outsideo of the car then looked around the gear lever area for my car keys. Then I looked between the seats. Then under the seats. Then I looked in my bag. I looked in the glovebox even though I didn't open the glovebox! I had to get a tow truck to take my car back home & I never did find those keys despite checking outside the car, under the car & everywhere inside the car including the trunk! So yes you can lose car keys just by remaining in the driver's seat!

When I was a kid, about 7 or 8, I had a lovely little toy derringer. Yes, I lost it and it bothers me to this day. Like George says, I just want to know where it went because I am 70 now, way past the age you play with small toy guns. In my mind’s eye I can still see it.

I got lost last Christmas season in London. It was outside the front door of Harrods when all of a sudden my parents weren't behind me anymore. I held my ground for a bit, then went to look for them. I looked everywhere. The Pret Manger we ate lunch/dinner at, the grocery store we browsed around, back in Harrods, even the nearby McDonalds. Nothing.
I was scared. Here I was in a place I had been to for the very first time, and it was nearing Christmas. I thought I'd be lost for a very long time, and I didn't have my parents' switched out cell phone number either. I was on the verge of tears.
But then I remembered something I read in my first ever "Boys Life" magazine. When you're lost, you don't panic. You STOP. That is: Stop. Think. Observe. Plan.
I had to get back to my family, and the best way I could do that is if I could get to neutral ground where they were sure to come to eventually. But where would that be? Then I remembered the Ibis Hotel we were staying at. If I could get back there, they'd surely come there in time to reunite. Problem was I didn't know how to get back. I had to find a way to get to the hotel. I didn't have my phone, but there were still those payphones nearby. With luck, calls to the police and emergency services were free like in America. I made my way to one that was working and called. The police officer listened to my story and asked where exactly I was and what I had seen. I told him we had been to Westminster Abbey so he directed me to the nearest Ibis Hotel. Unfortunately, that wasn't the right Ibis Hotel. But I went inside anyway and explained the situation to a receptionist. She called several other Ibis Hotels until she got the one my parents were registered under. She then told me to tell the workers of the Underground Subway System to direct me to the nearest train station to our hotel. It was dark, but I found my way to the subway, asked for directions to where I needed to go, made it to the right Ibis Hotel, but my parents weren't there. The receptionists assured me that after awhile they'd come back to the hotel and after an hour or so, I heard a knock on the door. Imagine my happiness to be reunited with my parents who at one point I thought I might never see again.
