Nice ride through Florida Jack. I enjoy the diversity of your adventures. And, always well edited. Thanks as usual for sharing. First class big rig adventures. Like a Professor!! Ha, ha.
You do a great job Jack. In my opinion, you are the best trucking blogger on TH-cam. The only recommendation I have is go back to your old introduction music, I miss it! The one where you wave as you're pulling out of the driveway and Old Red is swaying back and forth.
Great video Jack. I love it when you show Florida or the South in general. I discovered Vans sneakers because of watching your older videos. Greetings from Connecticut.
I believe you encountered a school trip. May is notorious up here in Mich. for the teens going to Cedar Point or Greenfield Village, a couple others....about sewers...I read a book about infrastructure called "ON The Grid" and he explained that sewer pipes are always placed underground with a tilt to assist the flow. BUT...that tilt HAS to be slight because experience has taught them that the more solid stuff will not stay in the flow and keep moving when the tilt is more than an inch or so per 100 ft. and clogs are more likely. Many underground electric pumps are used to assist...and mostly to LIFT the flow into the next section of pipe. Sounds like they have to place a pump that shouldn't have been necessary. I consider your videos one of my 'programs' now. It took me a minute to notice, but I don't hear swears in your videos. You're smart enough to think of the real word. Good work, sir.
I had the privilege of riding greyhound back in 98 when I went to work for CRST. I had to go from Oklahoma City back to Atlanta after orientation. It was a nightmare 36 hour bus ride! I met some really strange characters on that ride. I believe that will be my only ride with Greyhound.
Great work Jack. I like your even demeanor... maybe the truck stops should pay you a consulting fee, and give you a blank piece of paper to provide input on! Always a great ride.👍🇺🇸
Hi Jack...I'm not a trucker but have filled my diesel pusher many times at the Pilot in South Bay. You came through my home town of Clewiston on your way home to Polk City.
Hey Jack, here in Western Europe, that season is also known as the dirty season since it's impossible to get a shower, even a non-cleaned one...so yes, I agree !
You made the right choice as usual, I'm regretting the burger king. Sandwich all the way! Just don't feed those birds, they'll thank you by 'decorating' your truck.
Your wonderful narration truly makes me feel like I am in the passenger seat! Next time I am in those cities of Florida I will have to stop in a,d say hello!
Glad you had a good trip down to the Sunshine State and it's funny that you stayed there in Cocoa cuz that's where I was born and raised and used to truck out of with my dad back in the 70s into the 80s we used to run all over the state up in the Georgia
Hi Jack, I hope your doing well and thank you for all your great videos. I am currently planning a trip to Miami from Montana with a load, once I make the long journey west to east and start heading south I was wondering if you have any favorite truck stops down that way, any advice you can offer would be appreciated. Safe journeys and thx again.
There either going or coming back from Orlando Florida. From Graduation Week festivities based on the t shirt one young man wore as you we're vlogging at lunch time
hi jack, FYI , during construction every job-site has a specific "bench mark" that all trades use in order to establish their various systems or structural elements of the building and all elevations are taken from this "bench mark" which may include footings, foundations and most importantly sewer and storm systems, seems like someone messed up on their math when sanitation system was being layed out, very expensive mistake....tc
Hay Jack Wecome to Cocoa. I enjoy your vidios. Did you notice the large complex behind pilot . It's a walmart distrubition center. O well so much for our hidden paradice. Keep the rubber side down Jim H
They may have had two different contractors working on two parts of the sewer, you would expose the pipe you are working toward to make sure the pipes lined up, they may not have had the fall needed to meet up with the original pipe it looks like a flat area of ground
I travelled there with Greyhound bus. Im from Finland and I did not smell anything. I visit the Flying J Brunswick GA 2015, im not complaining anything
Whenever I unloaded at a construction site, the men had a forklift type thingy called a “pettibone” with an extendable forklift that could reach into a 53’ trailer, and they did all the unloading, easy peasy in and out...that’s what she said OH SHIT , there is the blue pettibone, I spoke too soon haha good stuff man..
My neck of the woods Palm Beach County I am a 911 Dispatcher for the County I heard your gps say US-27 when you pulled out of the Pilot. Did you see any gators?
It's actually a little rude to do that to other drivers. having your trailer sticking out like that can cause a huge obstacle to drivers parking nearby when pulling out of a space. it can also be a hassle to back out when nosing in.
Hey Jack he probably uses the extra floor mats to cover his windows! Because u NEVER know what kind of WEIRDO is going to be looking in ur truck whenever ur not looking 😳
Jack, a question, do your truck stops not have HGV drivers only areas ? When I spent a lot of time on UK motorways you would not have tried to eat in the lorry drivers area, you’d have been growled at by everybody, both customers and staff, coach drivers were not reguarded as “real drivers” so no problem with coach parties. Also most pubs in those days with big car parks would have signs out saying “Coaches by appointment only” so staff could be put on for the occasion.
The older truck stops did have " Drivers only " sections. Sadly these truck stops are closing sit down to eat type restaurants and replacing them with fast food so the "Drivers only" sections are disappearing :(
Alan Reaves thanks for the reply, mind you Jack never seems to eat in a restaurant, even when he can,I wonder why ? personally I don’t like a cab full of crumbs !!
I'm glad you fed the birds, because they feed us -IE Chickens, Geese, Ducks, Quail, etc......... When you compare a WaWa to a truck stop, I think per size, WaWa probably has a much higher profit margin. WaWa has way less maintenance, and probably sells almost as much gasoline and sandwiches as does a truck stop, & no showers to clean, all on about 1/2 Acre of real estate, what do you think? ............ Do you think Old Red got a complex parked beside that newer looking Volvo with the mud flaps inside? BTW, he may own more than one truck and is dropping the mud flaps off to repair another truck. A coordinator from Mercer told me she has a few drivers that own as many as 12 trucks, two woman drivers, and several man & wife team drivers and she handles 42 trucks currently. I also found out trucks with generators seldom have Regen Cycles.... Nicely shot Vlog Jack, thanks for leaving me ride along with you.
Greyhound passengers have B.O. ,I know this because Star Transportation and Gainey trans (are they still around) sent me a bus ticket to get to their terminal for orientation, it was horrible haha, never again, he that was funny that you said that..😎
'Tourists', not to be confused with terrorists. Yeah, it seems lately that riding greyhound coach is one bar lower than navigating certain Florida Walmart parking lots.
That J is tight when packed, had my starter quit on me in the fuel lane there but was able to knock it to start up one last time to get to a spot. Had to get a guy come out to replace it......what a night that was....SMH😣😩😤
Thanks for a great ride. I’m glad you had a good trip and found good truck stops. Be safe!
Always enjoy your informative videos Jack, thank you.
Nice to see you come thru my town. I've been in belleglade over 20 years n work for the sugar industry. Keep on trucking

A nice and clean Flying J, Amazing!
Jack, if you do a lot of those no dock loads on skids, you should get a scissor grab skid puller, I use to use them all the time, they are real handy.
You're so right. I've taken a greyhound a few times and you are spot-on about the hygiene Factor..
People really get offended when I mention that. Let's pretend it smells like rose petals in those buses. :-)
Another great video. Good job!
Belle Glade Fl. That's where I got my CDL. Ohh! Good memories.
Great video as always. I like bloopers too😂😂

Hey Jack, here in Western Europe, that season is also known as the dirty season since it's impossible to get a shower, even a non-cleaned one...so yes, I agree !
That is amazing I remember being on a greyhound when going to covenant I am still wanting to go over the road and looking at some companies
You made the right choice as usual, I'm regretting the burger king. Sandwich all the way! Just don't feed those birds, they'll thank you by 'decorating' your truck.

do you have to take 30mins or can you take longer?
Looks like an MG MGF at 8:30. So weird to see one in the US

Raw brocolli dipped in a lil blue cheese or ranch is great. Sometimes that acidic tastes means a preservative, ick.
Where They expecting a flatbed instead of a dry van for those materials?
My neck of the woods Palm Beach County I am a 911 Dispatcher for the County I heard your gps say US-27 when you pulled out of the Pilot. Did you see any gators?
Good show , jack
Curious why you don't go nose in when parking next to a reefer?
It's actually a little rude to do that to other drivers. having your trailer sticking out like that can cause a huge obstacle to drivers parking nearby when pulling out of a space. it can also be a hassle to back out when nosing in.
Good on ya Jack.
Do they still have the steak n shake at the pilot in Brunswick ?
Good one, Jackie...
Hey Jack he probably uses the extra floor mats to cover his windows! Because u NEVER know what kind of WEIRDO is going to be looking in ur truck whenever ur not looking 😳
Right on Jack!
By the way how do you like that I shift ?
Brocolli gives you lotta farts,,,LOL 🤔👍🇺🇸
One amazing game room............
Yep,Contractors who know nothing. Management that is in another world and the real folks doing the work.
You see them pump stations everywhere and after a while the give trouble.
Hauling duck work, gotcha
Jack I don’t know why I’m scared off big trucks with huge horns but I’m not scare of trucks like yours
Used to be if you had a load going to Miami in the morning, you parked under an overpass.
Jack. do you ever answer any of your videos?
Absolutely
hi jack how are you .i always prey to god for yours trip .keep safe jack
You were willing to spend all night next to a reefer just to be next to another red Volvo. Sweet!
Some truckers smell pretty nasty too, 😆
Several guys on the forums say they will Never patronize any Flying J's. I go to TA's.

Hi Jack.
Are you Florida based now?
I thought you were out of California.
