Kobe trained at Golds Venice, always wore gray sweat pants and old shoes. He kept to himself. I spoke to him once for a couple minutes-my friend knew him. He was always polite and didn’t say much. Used to see Magic there often, he was more social and out spoken.
Im high and when Lee told the story about the six year old boy who fell through a wood chipper I couldn’t stop laughing uncontrollably and my gf started laughing too cos she’s high and she was asking what I was laughing at and I couldn’t explain why cos every time I tried to tell the story I would start laughing again and it went on for ages 😂

I have left several comments of criticism and derision over the last few months, concerning his comments, vulgarity, and abrasiveness. while, albeit, enjoying these videos. At the age of 65, I am ashamed that I was so judgmental of Lee, having slowly learned his background, upbringing, and personal turmoils. Of course, like everybody, I have dealt with many issues, and have finally reached such an "enlightened" conclusion that everybody is "fucked up" in one way or another.(Even as some people in the United States still put their faith in a prime example as Donald Gump.) I'm really trying, in my advanced years, to appreciate the good in people, and Lee has a lot of good, knowledge, experience, humor, and so much to offer. If he reads this, I just want to express my apologies. Because, being Bi-Polar/Manic/Depressive, Panic/Anxiety Disorder, OCD, and Autism Spectrum, I can kind of relate, and unsuccessfully attempted suicide a couple of times myself.(lol!) Now, at 65, I'll just let Nature/Life take its course, and take care of it for me naturally. Naturally. Just as I have always trained.(lol!) And, trust me. Strength/Weight Training has saved me, and added so much into my life.

On a very serious note, from my personal experience cutting your wrists is actually a lot more difficult than people realize. The wrists are not as fleshy and quite durable. I watched the documentary from Generation Iron, which goes more into depth about his suicide attempt. I'm glad Lee did not succeed.
You cut length wise and you will die. Especially the pinky wrist area there is a major artery there. I had that cut at work one year and nearly died. Blood sprayed for 5 feet no lie.
It's a low chance of actually dying, it's more like a cry for attention like those women overdosing on skittles. Men go for methods that very often work like gunshots & hanging. 80% of actual suicides are male.

Looking at pictures of Lee when he was a very young man, you can really see the difference genetic gifts make.
