Thanks for watching from the debut! Their songs always keep me going.
Next my recommendations are “baby I’m a star”, “I am” and “Believe”. Believe is the latest one.
There are more songs I love but they do not have official video yet😢

    Thank you for NiziU's reaction!
When I watch the debut song step and a step, I remember that time and my heart hurts. It's hard to see thin Miihi, but now she's getting better and she's cute and full of charm!

An essential mv to watch is their pre-debut song Make You Happy which was a super viral song in Japan when it came out, mostly probably because of the hugely successful Nizi Project series that created the group.
Lots of symbolism in the Step and a Step song, and a very meaningful ones for the girls as the song can apply to their trials on the Nizi Project but also for the Covid situation at the time. Miihi had lost a ton of weight during their debut period and ended up having to go on a break and not be able to promote with the group. Thankfully she's long since fully recovered.
The male voice you heard was JYP. He used to introduce songs that he wrote.
Yes, Need U is a fan song. The fandom name is WithU.

As you guessed, "NEED U" is a fan song.
At NiziU's concerts, they always sing this song together with their fans at the end!
And here's a channel where you can watch NiziU's live videos.

    Hello♪
Thank you for being a fan of NiziU🫶
I recommend watching "NIZI PROJECT" to know more about NiziU.
Fans who watched the audition shed a lot of tears when they watched the MV of "STEP AND A STEP"😭
"STEP AND A STEP" expresses the suffering and difficulties each member went through before their debut, and the door that opens at the end represents their debut.
In particular, the scene where MIIHI was discovered by MAYA was really moving.
The reason is that MIIHI got sick before her debut and had to stop her activities.
When the MV was released, fans were very worried.
Is MIIHI appearing in the MV?
Will she get better and come back?
And fans who watched the MV were happy to see MIIHI there and shed tears!
After that, MIIHI got better and resumed her activities.
If you are going to watch "NIZI PROJECT",
I recommend watching "STEP AND A STEP" again after watching everything.

Good to see ya back reacting to some NiziU again and getting more into this group. Like others have said Step and a Step was a rather emotional song for those who watched Nizi Project because Miihi's health was in question, so we were all relieved to her back and looking much better. Like I said in a previous comment, there really isn't any bad songs, you will like some better than others, but they are all pretty good. If you want to really see where these young ladies started and get to know them really well, I would suggest you watch Nizi Project, either privately or in reactions, You will get a new respect for these talented young ladies.
