If u guys have inverter AC 1.5 ton then 16AmP mcb kafi hai .... 20 AMP if want to have some buffer. But know 16 AMP will not trip at 16 amp it will take more current. Also dont use overrated mcb, they may not trip and u may get things damaged. If I am buying 1.5 ton inverter AC, I will go with 16 AMP type C MCB.

Sorry to say but you seem to be completely unaware of current, power and cooling capacity of an AC. You are comparing cooling capacity of those ACs with the energy consumption. Nominal current drawn by a 1.5 ton 5 star AC is 6.2 Amps. So, C16 MCB is perfect for 1.5 ton AC even it it is a 3 star AC. If you use more rating MCB than required then it will not trip in case of overload which in turn will damage the AC. For 2 ton AC one should use C20 MCB. And for 1 ton AC you should use C10 MCB.
1.5 ton ac consume 1800 watt power and max. 8 amp running current and also requires max. 40 amp inrush current. so 16amp c type mcb is perfect for 1.5 ton ac.

To save wire, switch and other electrical appliances proper rating of MCB is required. 40 amp mcb can run 1.5 ton ac and may give short circuit protection. But it will not give you over load protection . In case of over load , used wire ,switch , other electrical appliances and ac machine may damage. So perfect ratting of MCB. is required in every case of electrical circuit. Use of higher rating of mcb may not give you over load protection and may damage the circuit .For 1.5 ton ac machine 16 amp C type mcb is perfect choice.

Wrong calculation. You are taken cooling capacity not power. 😂😂😂 1 ton AC is aprox 6 to 7 Amp and 1.5 ton os aprox 7 to 9 Amp. For more details see on ratings charts mentioned on every AC.
