If you justify on Romania with the "War Preparations" spirit, the game will bug out and you get the mediation event twice (at least you did before BBA), meaning you had two opportunities to get all Transylvania.
It still does this, I chose 2 different mediators, the UK was willing to give me Transylvania, but not France, so I actually got Transylvania annexed, then had to go to war with Romania and France.
Look, I’ve seen Japan in the Sahara, Amazon, and Greenland (took over Denmark as part of the Axis) Japan occasionally does weird stuff, especially as an ally (Also just had Turkey in eastern Russia, as an ally to the Soviets, cursed stuff)
I did comment on a previous video, but please check out the Soviet naval path! I won't go over all of the stuff again but the Soviet tree gets a really op naval tree - huge cost reductions to screening and heavy vessels and lots of buffs to positioning and the like. I did go over it in detail in my previous comment and I'm not bothered to do it again, but the Soviet naval path is just a bit overpowered.
@@subboid The air path is definitely good, but the navy receives no debuffs at the beginning of the game and the buffs they get for ship costs are a bit ridiculous. Because naval stuff is so overlooked I feel that no one's really realised yet, even though it's been ages since NSB. It might just be me, but you can probably contest every single naval power before Barbarossa and most certainly by 1942.

im from hungary and i play a lot wirh them so i got a strat what you could try. do the balanced budget and then DON’T do any focus. You get pp so you can hire a fascist guy. Rush the fascism by doing two civilian support thing. then ignite the civ war, you will be fascist and dont have the trianon spirit in like the summer of ‘36. then you justify on austria and then when you have 73 pp you justify on albania. from the start of the game you have to produce transport planes and research paratroopers so you can paradrop to austria. For the second focus you can do the army games which will give you 25 army xp. then you can make a cav template and make the order 66 on italy by attacking albania. one more thing, if you dont select just these two focuses you will have a lot of pp what you can use on conscription and mobilisation laws. this is the most op start with hungary❤
The fact that you annex everything triggers me so much xD trust me, making puppets and taking all their civs and recoursses is so worth it, and there are no garrisons to worry about
