2011 Audi Q5, prestige. OK, I found that the speaker is very difficult to access and originally thought that it couldn't be replaced. The key word in this procedure regarding removal of the buzzer is 'pry'. So instead of unscrewing the two fasteners that held the defective buzzer, I used a flat blade screw driver to 'pry' the buzzer off. The plastic screw inserts and Torx screws came out intact allowing the cable connector to be removed and installed on the replacement buzzer. Problem fixed, the backup camera works. Allow about 60 to 90 mins for this procedure.
For the record, the brace extends under the kick panel by your right knee. If you don’t put it back then the 8mm bolt by your right knee will not screw into anything. Ask me how I know lol😂
I’ve got a 2013 Q5 with the exact same problem but the code description in the parking aid module is “sensor for parking aid REAR left-open circuit short with ground. Is there a “buzzer” for the rear in a different location?
Hey, I’ve got a 2015 q5, my backup camera shows black, my parking sensors still chime and the graphic shows. This is the fault code I’m getting (02283 - Video connection to end unit: Open circuit)any suggestions? It’s a Japanese model so it has a camera in the passenger mirror too which also shows black so I’m guessing they both work on the same cables.
Nice video. Should be very helpful for my Q5

@@michaelmarshall6427 yes i had code for buzzer but not check engine light. You need scan tool that can go deeper into module
What's the name of that piece called
Man I have the same problem going to have a go thanks
Mine camera and vision doesnt work too, only the sound is working. Can the problem be the same as yours? The car is A4 B8 2008
You need to scan it and see what code you have. Mine was faulty buzzer. Had no sound backing up
Just need to replace the module
The same camera is the only issue. The buzzer works.
