- BJP MP Pragya Thakur had an altercation with SpiceJet officials and passengers over her seating on a Delhi-Bhopal flight Saturday. She had come on a wheelchair and booked the first row, which is the 'emergency seating'. However, people who cannot operate the exits are not allowed to sit in that row. Due to the scuffle the flight was delayed by 45 minutes.

The problem with India is the feudal mindset. "I am the MP, I should travel in a first class". "I am so and so, people should bow down before me", etc. The day this mindset changes, the nation will grow. Realise the fact that you will not take anything with you when your hour of departure arrives. A peasant or a VIP all become a "Body" after they stop breathing. I have personally seen the funeral service guys call "body ko le aao", "body ko idhar rakho", etc... Your name is also gone, you become just a "Body". That's the reality.
The classist mindset is in culture of us indians. It's such a shame. We are brought up in this environment where bootlicking is endorsed. I wish some revolution happen and people come to enlightenment age finally.
