Glenn, what cards this year would you say are worth grading and selling? I’m still trying to get my bearing with this set as I’ve only opened two boxes but I’ve been loving them so far and think there’s a lot of cool cards
The Art cards are the star of the show for me this year. Armor cards were a huge let down for as they were what I was most excited for and they’re just kind of eh (IMO). I do like the car inserts although now that you mentioned the colors they picked…kinda odd. Other than that there are about 6 singles I’ll look to pick up but I’ll probably wait for sapphire to get them.
I am actually very disappointed with the way cards are made. There isn’t that hard plastic as the top layer, but just a clear foil over like on Prizm Or Stadium Club Chrome from football cards. Product is lighter what lowers costs of shipping, also made with cheaper resources what doesn’t justify the price, nor the quality of a top range product offered by Topps. On top of that, the brand passed on the flagship edition and when you look at the Topps Now, those are printed in shorter runs than in previous years. I suppose that will make cards more rare, however if you look at bigger picture, let’s just hope that Topps or Fanatics in general isn’t gradually giving up on F1, while we’ve still got a chance to witness some greatness from Hamilton, or even Max beating Lewis’s and Schumacher’s records. If the Topps will keep going then us collectors will get a great opportunity to document history in the making, but they also got to be very careful so they don’t loose people’s interest in their product
