    Absolutely Amazing!!! Love Ralph Lauren even the more for placing his stamp of approval on this. Shout out to the HBCU grades for such a beautiful product.

    I worked at RL for 24 years and to this day it is still has a waspy culture. It is too little much too late and at RL's price points how many African Americans will be able to afford it or want to wear it. HBCU alums and other African American colleges should have done it themselves and not line RL's pockets with more $$$.

    Really, is this awesome? It woukd have been nice if these HBCU alums would've have teamed up to do their own line. Just another cash cow for Ralph Lauren- in my opinion the hip hop crowd from the 90s put enough money in Ralph Lauren's pocket

    Serena Williams, Beyonce are a much “American Girls” as Julia Roberts or Christie Brinkley. Love Ralph Lauren.❤️

      Yes! They should've revived his clothing line.

    I like Ralph Lauren but I prefer to stick to other less expensive brands of clothing for plus size women like me. It's cool that Ralph Lauren is using black college graduates to bulid his brand. I don't want to wear Ralph Lauren anyway!

    Good job to the 2 HBCU grads.
    I was hoping that at the end of this story there would have been an announcement that HBCUs would receive some of the revenue or a scholarship of sort. What was I drinking? 😂

      I’m a Spelman alumna. Make no mistake, both schools are receiving part of the profits as well as internships and pipelines to employment. We are not naïve, nor do we have presidents and boards of directors who are not business savvy.

      Pipeline employment opportunities sound like nepotism and not like equality

    They should have used a black owned clothing company. This is not something to celebrate

    • @MrBUGS713
      @MrBUGS713 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why haven’t any black owned companies pitched the idea to them? It’s a shame a white man had to take the lead.
