- So alot of you guys have been constantly asking me about how to become a Software Engineer in Pakistan by choosing degrees. The confusion is real. There is a bunch of degree offered at education level which creates alot of confusion especially with someone who has less knowledge about the IT field. In this video I tried my best to explain and clear those misconceptions.

BSCS focuses on computer science theory, algorithms, and programming languages.
BSSE focuses on practical aspects like software design, testing, project management, and quality assurance. They are related but have different emphases. (They are not the same degree programs. Both BSCS and BSSE are related to computer science and software development, but their focuses and objectives differ.)
I feel sad that there are not many people in Pakistan to guide us about all these

In pakistan, There is a separation between BS SE and BS CS. BS SE graduate is a recognized PEC engineer. BS CS well is a non-engineering degree. I do not know much about CS but 80% of the syllabus is similar between them. BS SE is not bound to any programming language; however, our university did teach us some most widely used Programming languages. In my experience, Software engineering does teach you about high-level stuff. Teaches you how to design software system, different approaches, best practices, design patterns, SRS, playing with abstractions etc. While CS are just closer to hard core programming ( I mean working closely to computer/system deep programming). In the end, BS SE is on higher place than BS CS
However, Internationally, First you do BS CS and then you opt for software engineering.

My Journey I had doned my Metric in General science but doned ICS AFTER THAT Bsc in Computer Science, DIT , CCNA IN R&S , experience of companies maintaining databases and Doing MCS right now and still need a view for this IT industry from where to start and where to end😢
Having a BS CS provides you a broader overview of how computer science overall works. e.g. Data structures help to clarify the format for organizing, processing, retrieving and storing data. in short how bigger problems can be broken down into smaller problems and how algorithms are designed. At other end the programming chain familiarize you with OOP concepts. Computer networks tells you about networks. Computer architecture talks about rules and methods that describe the functionality, management and implementation of computer system. Apart from that you learn about operating systems, databases, software development life cycles, project management and what not. So its a plus to have a degree. But if someone is a self taught programmer/IT professional, he/she has to learn about most of this stuff in chunks and self research(if some of it is part of his/her job responsibility.) So don't worry and just focus on what your current job is and try to master it as much as possible. google is your friend

I need some guidance. I've just completed my matric with Computer Science and have been self-learning various languages and frameworks at home, like Python, Flask, Pyrogram, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, and many more also HTML, CSS, and currently learning JavaScript. After that, I plan to move on to React.js, Next.js, and Express.js. I've also taught myself NoSQL with MongoDB and will soon dive into SQL.
The issue is, I’m not sure what steps to take next to pursue a career as a software engineer, especially regarding admissions and which path to follow, as I don’t have anyone to guide me.
If you're willing, I’d really appreciate a few minutes of your time to talk over the phone. It could make a big difference for me!

Data Science main itni software engineering nahi chahiye hoti, bas DSA or Software design and architecture principle parh lain or Software engineering koi itni mushkil nahi hay agar shoq ho to, main BS accounting and Finance kiya hua hoon or main nay ye sari cheezain khud say seekhi hain. Sari Statistics jo finance main parhi hay wo sari apply hoti hay software engineering main or Algorithms main. Mairay hisab say to Computer science main major karna fazool hay.
I am working in sugar industry, making reports and forms and query the data from large database. what you suggest me oracle forms and report are good or not in now a days. should i remain in sugar industry or switch to IT sector. thanks Sir, I am your Big fan.

Choose a path where you are interested. Where you are good at !
Find that path it can be ICS, medical, engineering or whatever. Your studies won't make you money.
Alots of my classfellows of ICS dont even know how to use computer and pretty basic things of a computer. Yeah and forget about the earnings.

Depend krta hai agay kya krna ha --- Front end development ma HTML CSS JAVASCRIPT - React Js Next Js - Tailwind etc aur Java Back end development etc ma use hoti hai aur C++ bhi kafi Software ma use hoti ha
Must learn one language in depth any from java or CPP.and practise ddata structure in that language as much as u can never skip practising data structure problems. And side by side learn any development slowly it can be app or web according to your interest u can goo

Bhai is defining the defination of software engineering in a wrong manner . he is saying that if u are any developer u are software engineer but thats only true for small level companies . if u see big companies like amazon meta google etc the software engineer is the different post for handling whole SDLC process . if u want to work in pakistan only then follow fahad bhai defination of SOftware engineer .otherwise never consider software engineer just a developer .
