We do this in my chorus class but with a major scale. Especially in the second half when they’re singing the scale but replacing solfège syllables, we do that but we also have to do the hand signs with it so it’s even harder
Its interesting watching your videos (I've watched several in the series). I'm curious to know, do the children actually make any music themselves at some point in these classes, or is it just these musical games?
Hello there. Yes, creating is a big part of music education in this program. Students build skills and knowledge first before beginning to create short there own music within a giving structure.
Thanks, looks great. I'm always trying various methods just to get the kids to be creative and enjoy what they're doing, not unlike an art class, so that music becomes interesting (and something to be remembered as a positive experience, not a bad left over taste), even if it's not something that they wish to pursue in the future.

Its the pentatonic scale which only contains five solfege notes consisting of Do Re Mi So La and Do repeated.

My chorus class does the same thing but we sing it faster a lot faster then y'all...but not all that movements...
