Lmao that's funny,d tune your guitar a whole step, play some power chords and all of these sudden the best guitarist ever. Not hardly or even close. The guy playing this cover is a better player. Have seen many better players on TH-cam alone not counting all the players that were in professional bands.
@@briskflicks688 he is ok not let act like he's a guitar God or even a great player. Good yes, great or mind-blowing hell know. Tone your guitar down a while step and play most everything in a. Let's not get it twisted. If being truthful and saying he is no guitar great makes me a douchbag in your eyes then ok. He's a decent studio guitarist and sucks live, or his live solos are garbage, how about that?
The PS2000 has a chrome pickguard and truss rod cover, and black control knobs. It also has "Washburn USA" for the headstock logo as well as "HAND MADE IN CHICAGO" right below that logo. . I have a PS2000 and have closely studied both models. What's shown in the video is the Asian made PS1800, which by many accounts appears to be an excellent model as well.
His playing is really basic but he makes the most of it with subtleties that are his own. In the end it's the writing that counts and M.C (although I'm not a massive fan) managed to stay on top for a long time. Respect to them and to Mr. Mars
@DanielBx no doubt. He and Angus both absolutely maximized their respective opportunities incredibly well. I love both bands. It's just amazing to me how much better a guitarist like Vai and Malmsteen are, however, Angus and Mars were able to completely outhit those two (for example). regardless, we are all the beneficiaries. this riff is fuckin' a sinister.
Tag East lyrics mostly ....not into bands who sing about partys and girls most of the time.....Also not a fan of poison and warrant etc ......I’m more into minor keyed realism when it comes to music 😝
I think, as some may say are basic riffs by today’s standards, he lit that shit on fire and came up with some of the most recognizable riffs of all time, especially for a 4 piece. Underrated guitarist to say the least 🤘🏻
That part at 1:56 I tried learning from another person and the way it was taught was more complicated than it should've been. You make it so much easier. Thank you.
Interesting. I've seen Mr. Satsuma nail every single solo, note-for-note, of the most complex songs in hard rock history. Stuff from Yngwie, Randy, Eddie, Ratt, etc...but doing Mick Mars is the one time I've seen him not perfectly nail the swing of a song. Say what you want about Mars' style, but the dude has rock and roll in his guitar lines.
+popvinnik I've seen these guys 6x in concert. Mick never disappoints. He's on spot every single time. He's really a student of the guitar and has some of the most interesting riffs you'll ever hear from the so-called "hair metal" era.
Incredible song, Incredible chorus, love MC till Theatre of Pain I was very young when MC release their first record and bought it , they contribute to be since 36 years a servant to metal, Saw them at monsters of rock with AC-DC and Van Halen, I was 12 it was a dream that never leaves me
well done on the song, you got it nailed , sounded like mick was sitting there, the pick you showed at the end of this vid, I collected about 14 of em from catching malmsteen shows,id always got there early so he could hand them to me and that's exactly what he did, I knew what it was right off,i said is that mine, lol cool guitar playing brother keep rockin
Mick Mars - Respect to a great guitarist who wrote so many great riffs and licks. Well done 🤘🏻
Unbelievable. Always perfection. This just shows how Mick Mars is one of the greatest guitar players ever no matter what anyone says!
Mick Mars is always my favorite guitarist.

Nice solid sound out of that Washburn Paul Stanley PS2000!
That's the Asian made PS1800, not the US Custom Shop made PS2000.
Montag Alexis How do you know?

@@montag4516 hey men, sorry what is the price of the guitar ps 1800
Fukn guitar is badass
mick mars is one of the best metal players, but he is so underrated !!!!
That's your opinion about him. I think he did a great job on it.
I love the part where he switches to the "Bark at the Moon" style riff at the end of the song
I noticed that. Two killer classics from '83.
いい音ですねぇ!!!!
Absolutely flawless. Rare precision.
Mick Mars took a lot of grief back in the day, comments like "he sounds like he just picked up a guitar 2 years ago, etc"). How wrong they were!
I couldn't agree more. This guy has a different style. His riffs are incredible and NOBODY else sounds like him.

he made the most of the opportunity. for that, hats off to him. but he's no guitar genius nor virtuoso.
All he had was his word & his balls & he don't break them for nobody!

Watching the solo, a shiver ran down my spine. Awesome cover, one more time #1!
As much as I don't really like motley crue...I believe mars to be a very underrated guitarist....always had some tasty little tricks
he is pretty damn good

I was thinking the same thing
On the surface, this sounds like a cheesy hair band song but those guitar parts are actually pretty clever. Well done :)

They were far, far better that the other band with painted faces (starts with a K).... I'll take Mick Mars over Stanley/Frehley any day.
