My mother passed away 8 months ago. She had a seven year addiction to opioids and lymphedema. She finally lost the battle after being in my care for about 10 years. Watching her decline was the hardest experience of my life and 8 months later the pain of her passing is still as fresh as the day it happened. This song really got me through the hardest part. I remember screaming it with tears streaming down my face. Truly powerful art.
Im sorry you lost your mum. I watched my mum for years struggle with meth and heroin. Last thing I said to her was she was a bad mother before she ODed on christmas 2 years ago and it was the biggest regret of my life now that I understand mental health struggling with it myself. I hope you find your peace within yourself 💛.
It gets easier with time but It takes a while.. time does heal wounds but it's slow. I still find myself lost, wrenching a decade later.

Another year in which Primrose Path and Dream State deeply touched my heart and mind, surely the next one too, I can't get over it. thankyou Guys
I love this album, but this is the song I keep coming back to. So emotionally powerful.
Damn. Everytime I hear this song, once it gets to the part where Charlotte speaks. I get full chills. Definitely an emotional song and so glad for bands like this to share that.

I found these guys back in 2019 and have been sober since 2016. This song killed me when i first listened to it. I sent it to my twin who called me crying after listening to it. I had already done my amends with her but i ended up apologising to her again because this song encapsulated her POV on my addiction. Truly a masterpiece of a song.
This song is my favourite by far. I cant relate to anything in this song. But i feel how emotional this song is, but at the same time how much anger it has.

I just got sober a few months ago and while it's hard, music like this is inspiring me to change my life. This kinda stuff at the gym has replaced alcohol for me, maybe the gym combined with music can help your dad too ;-)
