Just get your mess ready. I'm there too. At least if it goes to FL we will be on the west side. Seems like we always get the east side because of all the mess that goes to LA.
I would opt for Plan B. Our power might be out, flooded stores will be cleaning, linemen and FEMA will be in the area = chaos. Tornado damage most likely. Locals will be grumpy from having to do work and home clean up and sleeping without A/C and 89 degrees at midnight 🥵. I’m speaking from experience as a resident.
We love adding your videos to our meteorology unit for school (I homeschool my 2 kiddos), my son and I love the teaching moments and the "nerd" moments.
Watching From Steinhatchee Fl , We have been hit last year and this year within a year apart. Praying this will dissipate and not develop 🙏. So tired of evacuation and Damage.
We’ll see if we get any rain again. And the mornings have been seriously too warm. But should be a good drop into the 40s for tonight. Have a great day in the rain.
Watching from Pensacola. I went yesterday to get water and supplies. Sam's was already running low on water and they only had about 10 cases of toilet tissue, so people here are preparing instead of waiting till the last minute.
So Mitch cool story for weather nerds. Francine hit a couple weeks ago. The northern side was a ton of rain and wind. Then the eye hit us in Larose and everyone thought the storm was over. Then the southern side hit and you had 100mph winds with not a drop of rain for 2 hours. It was so weird. So dry air got into the backside and there was not a drop of rain but the winds were howling super loud.
👍Excellent presentation, Mitch! Thanks for your commitment to all of us.👍 ✝GOD bless you, the family, and all the brothers and sisters everywhere in the name of ✝Yeshua Ha Mashiach/Jesus Christ✝
These models are going to go west, east, back to west etc until we have a system to actually plot. Seems like the Euro AI has been pretty good this year. Will be interesting if that trend continues
In the direct path again, but not concerned. Have been is so many hurricane warnings here, even this year already, and it never materializes in my location on the Gulf directly south of Tallahassee. Actually, there's never been Hurricane conditions reported here, a few gusts around 74mph, but never in history has there been bonafide hurricane conditions recorded here. Heck, we don't even get the heavy bands to materialize here.
The biggest question is the next couple days, because if this system slow rolls us, then the northern cold front may lose blocking power and totally change the track. Any forecast there?
Good morning Mitch I can see school's being cancelled not sure how far inland yet a serious situation could unfold from this cyclone 🌀 one that could be stronger near and right here at home I like what you said it's not your final answer Game show 😅
It looks like there's a chance for a Debbie type track through Florida and off the carolina coast and we don't need no more rain right now on the Wilmington carolina beach coast
your geeking out way to much - I'm suprised you didn't add in how many semi's traveling east or west could cause a low level jet pattern and push the storm at the last minute ha thanx friend
How far away from landfall does a Cat 3 hurricane cause extensive damage. Say going off this latest model it makes landfall around Pensacola, FL. We are in Fairhope, AL east side of Mobile Bay. Will we see extensive damage?
Euro is always weird with tropical systems 5-10 days out when it’s closer within 3 days it’s better . I guess by time the other models figured it out 😂 . Euro has some upper level low over the US grab a stronger system and dissect it like nooo if anything the tropical systems would eat up that weak disturbance .
At least euro AI model has the system better I would say that’s what a weak upper level disturbance would look like impacting the outer fringe of hurricane
Its a bit eerie here in Santa Rosa Beach there is def a strange quiet . I hope the people who claim they own the beach bolt down their tacky no trespassing private beach chairs and signs . Nobody owns the beach besides God.
What is the theory of prayer here? God is omniscient and omnipotent but he might decide to do something different than his plan if you pray But wouldnt he already know ahead of time that you were going to do that and thus it was already his plan? Amd is a thing more likely to happen if more people pray? Is there any evidence Christians have better outcomes for all this prayer? Does it bother anyone that the idea of prayer is much older than Christianity or Judaism such that pagans somehow discovered prayer fitst but just got the "prayer to who" part wrong? Makes ine think that Christianity just developed from earlier religions and is thus just as much a human artifact.
Looking at the ensembles I'm getting the feeling that this might do a 2005 Wilma or 2022 Ian scenario. Especially if it can consolidate and if the trough and steering currents are in place it may not make the Northern/panhandle of Florida/Alabama landfall. The GFS has been shifting further south and east . Unless it's just me.
@@AkronKid330 I saw that. However it's going to go back and forth until we get a definitive center of circulation to track. I really dislike model runs with nothing to actually track but that's Mother nature.
Watching from Coast of Alabama …. Please don’t let it come here ! …. Make it go poof Lord so it won’t affect anyone 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
It doesn't work like that. If you wish it away from you, it just affects someone else.

This reminds me of Hurricane Floyd in 99. It had a lot of moisture out in front of it.

If these storm system around the deep south doesn't indicate there are massive issues, I don't know what will.
