I never knew Ford Thames commercials were sold in Australia. I hope that Ford F150 ambulance went to someone who wanted to put the body on another chassis/frame, if Australia is anything like the UK then retired emergency vehicles like that which used to be everywhere are very rare now...
Well hello GT. Good to see someone doing barnfinds in Australia. Now I know it's different strokes for different folks, but at 5.37 you walk past a Star Model Mainline ute to check out a rusty HD ??!!!!!
+redradiodog A lot of those cars are beyond realistic restoration, but if you're already restoring the same make and model as one of the rusty cars there then they could well be worth buying to supply loads of original small parts that are very hard to find and often very expensive when you can find them. It looks like quite a few of those vehicles didn't have long on the road before they ended up there so there's much less chance that they'll have lost original parts or been hacked around. And there were certainly a few shown in the video that weren't past restoring if someone was keen enough...
The old Bedford bus reminds me of going to school in country SA. Those round bummed yellow terrors carted us kids to school everyday at 40mph
