It's useful for speed runs and such, honestly I'm so used to how the car normally drives I would have to intentionally train myself to use it, but this is my only rig that has it. In fairness my Mojave EXB I bought a Dumbo RC receiver with the Gyro because on that rig I wanted to see if it's useful.... It could be, but the Mojave is a very different type of rig..... We will see if I like it.

Gonna keep testing this setup but the gearing and motor match up well I think, just gotta figgure if the ESC is enough, felt pretty good which is impressive for the stock ESC on that motor. I gotta get a GPS because O8S was moving!

Yeah man, my favorite bashes are with the boys, I rarely go out by myself, try to always take one of the three with me, but this Bash Bryce was just going full speed off everything just like he sees Pops do.... It's a dangerous pattern I set for them but VERY rewarding when there pulling some sick tricks.

Yeah his Orange Outcast and Backflips he started landing made pops have to take it to the next level.
Kraton was M2Cified and on 🔥🔥🔥 that day as was the 8s, but it's cool when your son inspires you... Kid was killing it with 6 Backflips... He literally didn't miss one! Was a proud poppa for sure.... You notice that one clip where I did a fake and he did one right afterwards.... He didn't even tell me he was gonna do it, he just saw me front flip and pull it back and said to himself, "I'm gonna try that" 😳.... Don't know where he get it lol

😂🤣 Yeah I can't give that kid a bigger pinion yet, my boys just go top speed off everything like they see pops, he is only on 4s I think 13 or 15 tooth, but the battery is 100c so that helps. He gets plenty of action right now, maybe in a bit a bigger pinion still on 4s might be perfect though🤔

I have a fully M2KRATON V5 that has everything that Mitch makes accept for the ESC plate and thats next on my list and and the front diff support I have it by PPS (prototype practical solutions) and a Just Bash It wing support and a Just Bash It billet servo mount just because Mitch don't make those parts yet I absolutely love the M2C stuff goes together beautifully and as a machinist the machine work is spot on and absolutely beautiful
For real,
M2C stuff is just top notch... Lasts forever, and really gives you a strong skeleton to your rig.

Great bash and video! Next time towards the end of your video, take a moment to go over the damages.. that way your subscribers can have those more commonly broken parts already in their parts bin.. slot of people watch these types of videos to see what they can do with their rigs and it would be a plus to be prepared for the failures..
Appreciate your time and constructive feedback. I do at times mention if anything breaks. This bash went through 4 batteries on three rigs (one run each) and nothing broke. The stock Outcast on 4s has been solid and it has taken a beating, the Kraton and Outcast 8s are M2C upgraded everything so it's rare that somthing breaks, and it's always my fault when it does 😳🚀🚀🚀 haha
The camber issues with the 8s happened a bit, but I mentioned that in another video but in fairness I could have mentioned it again.
I usually have backup tires, all screws and bolts for all rigs, and basic tools with me, most of the time it's just a Fix (Pillowball popping) and not break. But you gave me an idea of a video to do. What to have with you when you bash!.... And I appreciate you for that.

That's a tough choice brother. For me I couldn't do RTR Outcast 8s because of my bashing style.... So a good starting point is the 8s EXB Outcast, but vs the Xmaxx... Thats a whole other question. They both have things they need out the box but maybe the O8S EXB needs a but less but the small tweeks the Xmaxx needs are pretty cheap, parts are cheaper overall for the Xmaxx and its definitely more durable, they drive very different and depends on what your looking for. You want wild rough bashing unpredictable and super durable, Xmaxx, you want accuracy, better handling and excelling in most things and great for ramp sends.... And still very durable, Outcast EXB.
Perfect world get both, if it's your first big rig get the Xmaxx it's more forgiving.

I honestly got such a killer deal on the 800 I had to take it. But they are both outstanding Motors but I'm new to 8s so I wouldn't be the best person to compare. I would think the 1100 is outstanding too. Maybe reach out to Rich or Eric.... Sorry brother.
With either one different gearing is necessary... And Rich helped me with this setup because he runs similar.
Hi there, i just bought the M2c notorious chassis...can i use the m2c shock towers front and rear from kratonv4? Thanks so much...i tried doing it but when i put the body mounts it wobt align...
Yes you can buddy, they are an idental part....kraton and Outcast shock towers are the same... BUT the body mounts are different.
If you go to Arrma website or search Outcast Exploded view PDF you can find the part numbers you need.

Was that spool gear hard to fit up? Did you use both grub screws on it?
Great question.
You actually have to flip the spool the opposite way on the shaft so it lines up with the pinion gear.... And yes both grub screws.
Also you will Likely have to abandon the clip at the end of the stock pinion because you will likely need to slide the pinion slightly down the motor shaft to match the spur/spool gear. I was using Saga Pinions that have two Grub screws on the pinion and just had to file the motor shaft one angle for another flat spot.... That held it great and with two grubs on each the pinion and the spur/spool. But I did run it a bit on the stock 23 tooth and only one grub screw😢

@@3SonsRC thanks that helps a bunch. I bought the m2c 8mm mount and noticed it says it will only fit 27t im hoping with the 39t spur I can run a 34t pinion. If not I will be waiting on another motor mount.

With the stock system how much faster was it with that motor?
It's not really much faster.... More Torque, so more explosive, more power for air control corrections and initial acceleration... You will loose a tiny bit off the top end because higher KV is higher speed, but IMHO an M2Cified O8S or even a stock O8S 890kv is great, but maybe even a better choice is the Hobbywing 1100kv.
In this video don't think I had the Max5 in there yet and Max5 is strongly reccomend for 800kv and 1100kv for that matter.... She even more nuts now I have the Max5 in there. M2Cified FTW💪

@@JayDay285 the stock one has plenty of top end, going to 1100kv or 800kv Likley won't get you any more top end, it just adds torque so you get to the top end faster, but higher KV gets you more speed and lower gets you more torque, but with heavier rigs you need to torque for air control.... Sweet spot for these 8s Arrma's is 1100kv HW
I use the 800kv because I got a great deal on it!

(Outcast 8s?)To be fair I haven't tried.
I don't think it would....two reasons. I need to put earplugs in the center diff as I'm loosing a lot of power to the front, either stock center diff is not as full as it should be, but more Likley with this power setup it needs stiffer center diff. You can see the front tires Ballon pretty bad on acceleration. 2nd reason is I am still on stock Firma 160,which is a good esc and surprisingly has done well with the 800kv, but 800kv is really way too much for the stock, plus the Firma 160 is not SUPER punchy like I know a Max5 will be supplying all the amps that are demanded from a hard trigger pull with a 800kv. But the Max5 is waiting to be installed... Just have to teach myself to Soldier first, have everything, just have to practice a few times.

I am using the 8mm slider from M2C so it works fine, but I'm also using a Limitless Spool of 39 tooth on the spur flipped the opposite way on the spur shaft to match the mesh with the pinion.
Stock ESC is working quite well. Only tested it a few times but able to pull some pretty big doubles which is what I wanted. I need to test more to see if I can stick with the stock ESC, but don't want to change it $$ 😳, I'm sure a Max5 would be ideal but if this is 95% OK then I'm good. The stock ESC is MUCH better after the software update, so 🤞 I should be good

@@3SonsRC small question if you don’t mind . What gear/s best suit the 800 kv in the new kraton exb , I’ve been getting told a few different things , you seem to have it pretty dialed in. Any help would be appreciated.
@@Captinfun101 great question brother.... I'm running 34t pinion 39 Limitless spur/spool... Max5 and 800kv works very well... Plenty of wheel speed.... I just need to put earplugs in my center diff .... Step above that is 34/34 or 39/39, but for the Outcast this is fine.... Maybe with the Kraton 8s 1/1 gearing better. I'm stupid so one day I will Likley go 1/1😎.
