With time you will get better. Fighting game experience is transferable between games as they all share the same concepts/philosophy of a fighting game. The only thing that is different is the system mechanics and combo system. it doesn't have to be SonicFox though, there are plenty of FG content creators out there that make really great guides to learning fighting games.
