Haha the ONE thing I'm worried about is my 12 year old schnauzer 1. Has just about as much energy as a puppy 2. He is immune to chocolate somehow and litterally growls at us (friendly) if we don't give him food lol shibas are already stubborn I'm like dog don't ruin the new dog 😂

My baby screams as if she's being kicked around the room when I take her in the shower. The 'suspicion' is awesome, so many times been caught out by that! I don't want to train the shiba out of my shiba inu. It would kill her spirit!

It's like their spidy sense tells them that we are up to something. if our Shiba sees my husband and I walking toward her together (which is usually because we want to clean her ears or clip her nails etc) she gets super suspicious and we then engage in "the chase". haha! But you gotta love them and wouldn't change them for the world. Shibas are special, that's for sure.
Ruby Dzns same he’s thinking about it but the only reasons why he doesn’t want a dog is because of the barking and the fur getting on our clothes So I’m gonna tell him that I’m going to train it to not bark as much and brush it’s fur (almost) everyday

I have a feeling that Shibas tend to be somehow cleaner than the average dog. (Not that dogs are inherently "dirty," because they're not...) I suspect they have little to no noticeable b.o. and I also picture them diligently bathing themselves in cat-like fashion. I know little about Shibas but that's how I imagine them to be, generally.
XD This is so true i have a Shiba name Hachi but we catch him every time with one thing, dog leash he likes going to walk a lot then we catch him use the dog leash and tie it around a chair to prevent him escaping then we shower him

What about having water already in the tub(if you have one*) and then put the shower carefully on and start cautiously while the puppy or dog is in the water already? Most beneficially as early as possible(young puppy) so she or he gets comfortable in water and shower I guess - Could this be a good way and/or alternative? :)
Kaesar Sm Could work. But giving treats throughout the bath is better, especially if you only give them their favorite during that time. Some dogs just don't like water, though, and being restrained in it makes it even more uncomfortable for them. You really can't fix the water-hatred with some breeds.
