The 4 members of Onic are equal to the 4 members of Bren in terms of total gold right before the 1st lord in almost every game. However, for some reason lupti is 1-2k gold and 2-3 lvls behind flap for some reason. This causes flap to be able to zone against Onic in the first lord and snowball off from there. There’s a reason lupti is an MDL player. This is just so sad to watch. 1 player is dragged down the team from being an S tier to borderline B tier. Yebs drafts recently are quite questionable too.
@@2ez4KaiIf you are saying that they should have imported an exp laner, then I would agree with you. But if what you meant was it should have been Buttss that's playing, then nah. Buttss has been Onic's weakest link for such a long time internationally so it was really time to make a change. But I don't see any exp laners in Indo that can match PH exp laners. PH exp laners are just bat shit crazy. Sandord, Edward, Flap, Nathz and now Kramm. These are very impactful Exp laners. You will even see another 1 next season in Liquid ID, Jeymz. I think the only impactful ID exp laner is Luke. But really the entire team looks worn out. Even Kairi, who to me was the most mechanically gifter player ever, is not going crazy. Maybe because of the level of competition in MPL ID. No other team is really pushing/challenging them to improve, hence they are stagnating. Unlike in MPL PH, there's really atleast 3 or 4 title contenders every season. Iron sharpens iron. That's why PH teams are always improving. They have no other choice

In this meta, roam and exp lane synergy is really important especially for zoning turtle fights. Lupti underperformance causes kiboy to feed more than usual. They have no synergy at all. Butss is an A tier exp laner that fills the role of Onic. Onic lost their identity without Captain Butss. If u watch Onic’s games, whenever kairi is on dmg jg, butss was give up his lane after 1st to 2nd turtle and rotate mid to def/make plays and sac his waves for kairi to free farm. Butss plays the sacrificial + zoning role for onic. We don’t see that anymore with lupti. He’s MDL for a reason. That’s why I was hoping they can get Edward. I believe Edward can fill butsss playstyle but better. It’s unfortunate that 1 player is dragging the 4 others down to a Borderline B tier team. There’s a reason Echo was always able to go toe to toe with Bren. It’s because Sanford can neutralize Flap. Now imagine if echo had lupti has their exp laner LMAO. Bren would take a dump on echo. 10 min game humiliations. I hope onic can bounce back. It’s really just the exp lane and yebs drafting. They seem to not be caught up in the meta.
