Wesak Day Procession Around Kuala Lumpur (2024)

The annual candlelight or lamplight procession starts at the Buddhist Maha Vinara temple in Brickfields begins around 7PM and goes for 12km around the city (passing through Bukit Bintang b/w 9-9:45PM. The Nepalis, Bangladeshis (some are Buddhist) and a huge crowed of Myanmar people in traditional dress also walked in it + plenty of free drinks and snacks were given out... One float did not make it as smoke was coming out of it...
