MAINZ, GERMANY

Mainz is the largest city of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. At the influence of the Rhine and Main rivers lies the beautiful city of Mainz, a place you should visit even for just a short while.
This video is all about a short trip to Mainz within a day from Frankfurt. the journey was only about 30 mins away by train.
A rich cultural heritage that dates back to 2000 years. It is also a wine capital of Germany.
Located at the point where the Rhine and the Main rivers meet.The elegant and joy of strolling along the river makes it the enviable, perfect base to explore the surrounding area.
Rhine river or Rhine Gorge is also listed in UNESCO World Heritage.
There are more to see and visit at Mainz. Unfortunately, due to impromptu visit and tight with time and weather, we manage to visit just a few places in Mainz that was intriguing to us. But we will definitely revisit this beautiful place again in the future.
The square was called Mainz Markt. In the middle of the square was a gorgeous fountain, Marktbrunnen where you can see most of the buildings are in pink.
