I think the most impressive thing about this is the drivability, powers not bad but I daresay for the money spent, time spent, bigger numbers could have been achieved and the list of engines to have as a starting point is pretty massive. Smooth as you like though and that means everything to normal day to day driving!
Knight Punk mine is a 2004 AXD, got the turbo from the AXE engine bc mine was dead, bigger cooler from darkside developements and a very expensive race chip absolutely worth every penny. Max turbo pressure is 2.6 bar at 3000rpm on lower revs lower boost so no lagg or anything. Cheers

Damn, If I had the money, I would have sent you guys my Audi A6 2.5 TDI to work on. My ultimate goal for one of these is to get similar performance to the period correct S6 Plus (Approximately 320 HP), but from a diesel engine. The standard AEL engine has 140 HP and 290 NM, though it is relatively easy to get around 200 HP with basic mods, such as performance chips, large intercooler and an open exhaust.
This old 2.5TDI are one of the best engines ever made they were the first TDI ever produced then they developed a 1.9TDI which was based on the 2.5TDI 5 cylinder.
@@chrisharding5783 they do 1.000.000 km then you need to change the cilinderhead on 1.1 milj +-. New head and go on ,see T4 club, guy has now 1.4 milj km, same block. I sell these T4 in Belgium, many have 500.000km, almost all have 330- 360.000km. never with problems. Change the timing belt at 90.000km and you're good for 1.000.000km. Drop me a mail for cars.

@@hdj81Vlimited Sure. The AXG pump is rated to 4375rpm and by all accounts looked strong to the 5200rpm on the dyno chart. Others in the VP37 range are rated to 6k for a 5 cylinder.

@@kawoutster We can supply all the same parts as this van the only issue been the space in the Volvo chassis. The downpipe and intercooler setup will need to be custom if there is room for the manifold and turbo.

I have a t5 running 250ps and 550nm everything stock except turbo and cooler, it’s a daily with no issues.
Mines an 2005 Axe I think I'll do the same, but there's oil in reservoir think the heads gotta come off first though..

No, that is a PD130 or 163 or 174, this is older VP Pump. We can still get good power from those.
