I'm already missing Xing cast so much! Their backstories and development really got to me. I was also happy to see more Lily and Tae-Woo in this arc. Yona gaining more influence and Hak starting to work through his emotions was also important. Did you like this arc? Do you have a favourite character from Xing cast?
I loved this and this arc!!!! Algira started off as my favourite character because kitty boy, then Vold and Tao too, but then Mizari was my scary fave that became my problematic fave/son, i started loving Kouren, I loved Neguro, and then Yotaka too, and in the end I just loved everyone so much that it hurt. I miss them already!! It was such a good arc. What about your favourite?
I think this arc was amazing. I loved every single character, especially Algira because he's so silly. Neguro's and Mizari's deaths were very powerful but I think Kouren develpoment was my favourite part of this arc. Her sister Tao and others played a big role in that. I'm happy they came to a peaceful resolution. I was also proud of Lily and Tae-Woo for finally stepping up as the new generation of leaders. I wonder how Soo-won will deal with Yona, he can't ignore her any longer... I bet he had no idea how strong she is going to grow...
Ikr? I was so proud of Taewoo when he threw that spear! The wind tribe is in safe hands :) and Lili too! She's already having a large role to play in the country's politics, and is making her own opinions and investigating, i'm proud! I think Mizari and Kouren were my favourites for character development. It was so good to see such a well-rounded female antagonist, she just wanted what was best for her country (as did Tao but she was more focused on the people not the nation), it's sad because they should have been working together in those tough times and instead they were divided :( and how sad was Kouren's backstory? And yesss Yona was so badass! Soowon was Shook. Again, they're family should be ideally working together.... he's really starting to see her as a formidable opponent/player. And now that the Fire Tribe has found out about her and the dragons, they can't be ignored anymore, I just really hope yona and her friends can make it out okay!! What role do you want Yona to end up in?
It just feels so good to see the development of the youngest leaders. I was very worried about how Tae-Woo will deal with the tension between the countries and his devotion to Hak. I was so proud of Kouren who was living for the revenge all of her life just like Soo-won did, but she was able to recognise that she was wrong all along and lead her country to the better future. I want Soo-won, Yona, Hak to unite against the biggest threat somewhere in future. Showing that they threw away the hatred and were able to come so far would be mind-blowing. When the peace will be restored in Kouka Soo-won will want to give the crown back to Yona. If she accepts it she would rule with Hak by her side. Honestly I would love for the trio to make up and live happily together ever after but that's not going to happen. I just hope the author won't kill either of them to make an easy ending. Even if Yona refuses the crown I doubt that Soo-won will ever marry or have kids. The next king would be Yona's and Hak's child. I just want a happy ending for all of my babies... Most fun ending would be with Tae-Jun as the king (there was ova like that in the manga). Zeno told him one time that he will become a very important figure and I still wonder what he meant. Tae-Jun always wanted to be the king and he is supposed to be from the Hiryuu's original bloodline... fufu that would be the fandom rage.. What do you think about possible endings?
Sansa 33 Bad ending: either Hak dies and Soowon keeps conquering the neighbouring countries spilling more and more blood until he's too much like his father (which is a big fear) (and maybe Yona has to stop him) OR soowon dies/is killed, Yona and hak take the throne but neither have enough experience and she ends up being too soft to other countries for the sake of peace and becomes more like her father. Okay ending: either yona or soowon take the throne alone, the other stays alive but is not favoured by the people, things stay roughly as they are and the trio never fully move past the betrayal. AND/OR Soowon is given a love interest who he has children and they inherit the throne, just cos I see him as asexual? I agree with you, I see hak and yonas children continuing the dynasty. If he stayed on the throne alone all I can think is he'd marry Lili out of convenience? (tho soowon and lili as co-rulers would be badass) Good ending: THEY UNITE AGAINST A COMMON ENEMY AND FINALLY HAVE A LONG DISCUSSION, the death flags on hak and soowon disappear. Yona and soowon (and hak ofc) form an alliance uniting the country, together with tae woo and lili and tae Jun etc they create peaceful alliances with the neighbouring countries and the dragons all live too and are happy! And soowon gets a redemption arc (if it's needed) with MINIMAL suffering. Hilarious ending: Emperor Tae Jun ... That got long, I apologise!
