Thank you so much for your videos. Just a question on the set error and text block element. My step is fairly long and when the error is triggered, it takes me to the top of the step, rather than to the text block element. This means I have to scroll down to find the error. Have you ever come across this?
Has anyone managed to set errors in an array? I have an edit block with inputs in each, and I'm having troubles doing it. BTW, great serie of videos.... They've helped me a lot. You should try to get a course of omnistudio/vlocity in udemy business... (there is no Omnistudio courses on Udemy Business, 'cause none meets they're business standards)
@Bruno Pimentel Raposo The only way, was to create a hidden read-only text input outside the edit-block within the same step, a hidden formula field within the edit-block that turns true/false when there's some input wrong, , and with a SetError that tuns on according to the error formula within the Edit-Block, point to that hidden input outside the EditBlock and display the error message twice, once in the hidden text input and the other in the error message in that input. It's a lil' confusing to explain it over here, but I hope you get the idea.
Create a SetError actionEmailOrMobileIsRequired and place it under the FullNameRequired SetError. Map the PersonFullName input element and define your error text. Navigate to the Conditional View section and leave the "All conditions are met" as is; set the filters to Email Equals To AND MobileNumber Equals To . Save it and you're ready to go. RESULT: The error message will be displayed on the Person Full Name input field with the Salesforce standard look-and-feel.
I wasn't able to understand set value and set error actions in trailhead. You've made it very clear. Thank you !
Great video for beginners who are having difficulty understanding these topics. Thank you very much!😇
Glad it helped you.
Very nice and knowledgeful series. Learned so much from it. Thanks!😇

amazing series, could you please include how to deploy into higher environments in professional projects?
Depends on what package are you using. OmniStudio for Vlocity and OmniStudio works different. You can use Workbench, SFDX Tools, Gearset.
When are you planning to release the advance Omnistudio series?
Not getting enough time as of now with some personal commitments.

If it’s possible if we don’t show the error once the mobile or email is entered, before we click the next button?

Can we show an error on the messaging element when the IP fails?
Yes, you could use try catch and send response back from IP.
I think you overcomplicated the Email or Mobile error. Although your logic works, I'll suggest a cleaner solution to the comment readers:
Create a SetError actionEmailOrMobileIsRequired and place it under the FullNameRequired SetError. Map the PersonFullName input element and define your error text. Navigate to the Conditional View section and leave the "All conditions are met" as is; set the filters to Email Equals To AND MobileNumber Equals To . Save it and you're ready to go.
