Thanks for the video.. do you still have the Little '78 on this guitar? If so, then it would be very useful to hear a video with all the pickup positions one after the other.
I love this demo. I wish you could’ve demoed the pickup in a clean setting. I love the distorted lead sound, but I can’t find a single video that exists where this is played clean. Have you any experience with the cleans tones? How are they?
I have one in the bridge of my G&L Tribute Legacy. It works really well with cleans! Full and fat, but yet still has enough clarity. The best I could describe it is sort of like a p90 with the tone rolled down about halfway or 3/4 down.
Damn fine playing! That was excellent. I didn't know there was a Lil 78. Assume Alnico 2? Not sure what you're playing through, but is the pickup hot or medium output? I just my first strat 6 months ago and I keep fighting my urge to put in a mini-humbucker. I normally play Gibisons w/humbuckers, so trying to appreciate the single coils for a different texture that the rest of my guitars. Thanks for the demo!
Great playing, horrible tone. It sounds too metallic and compressed from the demo. Maybe I'm wrong, anyway you could do snother demo with some cleans and light overdrive? I love the Red Devil set.
This is what I was waiting for - a demonstration of a US, rosewood board Strat with the Little 78. And I'm sold. Perfect.
Sounds great! Adds the right thickness & texture when you want a bit more chunk. I have the full-size in a partscaster.
Thank you !

Poderia fazer mais um vídeo com esse captador? Se for possível mostrar o som limpo dele junto do captador do meio. Obrigado

Thanks ! I haven’t used it for cleans .I usually use the neck or middle pickup for that.I’ll have to try it

Excellent playing! Love how you showed its response to the lowered volume too. 5️⃣1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣=\//-/=🔥🤘👍

Thanks ! It is alnico 2. It’s a little hotter than medium. 9k .It works pretty well with the single coils
Are you using the stock 250k volume pot?
Was considering this or a red devil to match up with Texas specials.
Yeah everything else is stock.just the pickup was changed.
@@ronmillerguitar3004 awesome thank you for the reply. Tough choice between this and the red devil.
Sounds great! Do you like it better than the screamin’ demon?
Thanks ! I like them both but if I had to choose one it would be the Screamin Demon.
The Seymour Duncan little 78 is alnico 5, do you think it is better than other Seymour models such as the little 59 or the Dimarzio Chopper?
They’re all good. The little 59 is my least favorite in a strat. Some people love it though. I like the Screamin Demon the most
I have a chopper T in my tele and I'm honestly not a big fan but some people swear by it lol
