Man this has been the most fascinating mini-series I have come across on TH-cam. This photographer is damn talented (of course) but then he looks great and has an awesome sense of humor. Very engaging series, largerly due to the great narrative offered by Matthieu.
I absolutely agree with ya!His witty comments+beautiful scenery makes this a must watch and I for one have never seen anything else like it so far..

I love Paley's videos. I have seen four so far and they are all amazing. breathtaking photography and his candid commentary plus humor is so refreshing. many of these places he has gone to I know I can never go to but he's telling me about this fascinating world beyond my own and it's just so amazing

@Andrew John their way of living ensures generations behind have something to gain. Unfortunately using our minds have caused the worlds resources to dwindle and climate change. Ive noticed a lot of non modern tribes when left alone have lived for so long-centuries- and they are okay with the little they have That is freedom.

This has been a real treat and pleasure to watch. I learned a lot and got completely immersed in these glimpses of life he gave us. I hope more videos like this get made. It's really unique. The gorgeous pictures, the video, the funny but insightful commentary, the overarching theme of how we eat. I loved every minute of it! Thank you!

There is a government...it just doesnt bother itself with remote villages.im from Tanzania.
And the public is glued to the belief that civilization will not survive without authority. Nothing can be done but wake people up from the idea of authority.
We will keep playing the same game until we become extinct.
In the case of the Hadzas: they don't have any kind of hierarchy, no chief or whatsoever. Lot of anthropologists believe that the first human groups were also organised like that.

I love this series. They showed us because stories from unique places and also reinforced my desire to live independent from worldly materialistic & stressful things..

I think you are right. This is also one message in the bible maybe, where it says don´t worry about tomorrow and that god will give you everything you need. God is nature. We have separated us from our roots and from nature with too much technology and have lost contact to our ancient spirits.
You don’t have to be religious to understand our place in nature
They have such a beautiful life, they smoke a lot of weed, eat what they find and they eat it right there, they don't care about much either. Actually, kind of sounds like the way I live :P

Also, water filters. They would benefit from portable water filters a lot.
Do they want that, though? If it's not an immediate threat or issue, then it is especially best to not assume.

people romanticize this life type wayyyyy too much. It has a lot of downsides. My dad was the son of a farmer living in a remote village. Sure he complains about stress and bills in america and he misses the village life but you couldn't pay him to go back.
Farming is an incredibly tedious way to spend one's living. These people are not farmers.
However, since farming came after hunting and gathering, it is still a happy way of living life. Why? Farmers have strong social bonds in their community which helps them live happier lives (especially traditional farmers).

What I admired about him is that he was able to draw some positive lessons from their hunter gatherer life. But why do they smoke marijuana? This is something I noticed in several TH-cam documentaries I watched about them. Does the Tanzanian government recognize these people and respect their way of life? I ask this because the government of Botswana has been notorious for disregarding the way of life of the San people. Bravo! You weren't prejudiced about them.
