Hi all! This is the first video I've recorded using a guitar amp rather than plugging straight into the interface. Check this out if you wanna learn more about it :) www.laney.co.uk/products/l5-studio/
I can't even begin to explain how much I love this song. I listen to it every day, particularly when I need to settle down and breathe for a bit. Thank you for this.
I’m a guitar player myself... over 30 years... but when I listen to your music, tears of emotion well up... I could listen to this all day. It has inspired me to somehow find a way to pour more of my heart and emotion into my playing... thank you for sharing your soul out here 🙏🏻❤️
I know I'm responding a long time after you posted your comment, but I love the sentiment you expressed. It's so cool how music reaches across space and time to touch us all. Glad to hear you're finding new inspiration in your playing. Cheers to you. Have a wonderful 2021.
You keep on inspiring me Sean. I pick up my guitar everytime you post. I keep coming back to rewatch, learn, incorporate what you do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you do.
I think I have now watched every one of your videos at least half a dozen times and they are all SO beautiful… but this one is my favorite 🎶✨ Thank you Sean
this music just fills the space and creates such a mood and ambience. what a hard thing that is to do yet you can execute it so effortlessly with perfection and originality. kudos to you, sir. absolutely stunning.
andhika nugraha ah you’re right! I’m fond of that piece of music and didn’t even put that together, there’s definitely some inspiration from Hans in here. Thanks for listening :)
It's because of the voicings, the 1-5-3 voicing is a really powerful thing, but when it comes to a dominant chord, everybody remembers it from Inception, althogh it's one of the most basic voicing and it's used a lot because it has an extremely good sound and resonance (it's literally the overtone series with the major chord)
It's not really from inception, it's such a common and nice chord progression. Millions of artists have done their own interations of it and even though I've heard it a million times it never gets old for me
I really enjoy your videos; I can tell you truly care about what you’re doing & put effort into making the videos look great aesthetically & feel even better musically.
Just awesome! Guess I 've watched your whole playlist! Would be amazing to have more of your videos coming! Congratulations and keep up your awesome skills!
You only further my desperate need for a looper and better equipment. And my need to practice a lot more too haha but seriously, thank you for these songs because they're hands down some of the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard.
Hows things? Any chance of another lesson soon/or live vid? I've listened to this on repeat watching the fretting hand., I honestly have no words, amazing form, accuracy and dynamics, too many favourites to choose from !
Parted Dynamics correct! all it takes is time and effort. I highly recommend you pick something up (guitar, piano, bass, ukelele, mandolin, accordion, etc... anything really) and give it a shot. there’s plenty of youtube videos that’ll get you started with the basics on just about any instrument.
Hey, would love to use this in a video about running a marathon with no training. Will, of course, shout you out. That ok? This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Shared it with four friends already!

Sean Angus Watson Love the video! Let us know if you think this is half as good as yours haha ... th-cam.com/video/mKaLScBXyC0/w-d-xo.html
Dan Barrenechea thanks much! going on 10+ years now
Bill Evans incorporating the tube amp was one of the best things i’ve done in a long time, much better than straight into the interface IMO
I can't even begin to explain how much I love this song. I listen to it every day, particularly when I need to settle down and breathe for a bit. Thank you for this.
ahh that means so much! thanks a lot for listening and reaching out
same here;)
This tone never gets old.
Electric guitar playing is like 50% guitar playing and 50% getting tone right.
A broken soul needed to hear this

Aw, yay! Love when you put out originals 💜
chord progression sounds a bit like hans zimmer's time (inception), great work anyway sean.
andhika nugraha ah you’re right! I’m fond of that piece of music and didn’t even put that together, there’s definitely some inspiration from Hans in here. Thanks for listening :)

Kiko Friko theres not really any original chord progressions left

This is a ‘making love’ riff. Love it. Much sensual.
Hermosoo broh
Your melodys are like a language that only my soul can seem to understand.
Being the 1k like felt good. Love your style man. You should collaborate with Elise Trouw
Killer tone man! Would love to hear your breakdown/approach behind the riffs your layering on top of these chords
These are great, loving the creamy tone man.
Keep em coming!
This is really nice to listen to. I wish I could play an instrument. Maybe someday. Keep it up though! 😊👍
Parted Dynamics you can play it just takes practice
William Mueller, true true. Anyone can, with the time and effort, I believe.
Sean Angus Watson, I think I will take you advice. Thank you!
Hey, would love to use this in a video about running a marathon with no training. Will, of course, shout you out. That ok? This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Shared it with four friends already!
Pure dope as usual. The only reason I don't listen to you daily is that I'm afraid of developing diabetes ;)
Great ❤
Can you do more John Mayer covers? These are amazing. Keep em coming Sean!

The growl in your tone... It's too good man. Any chance you have Bias FX? I'd almost pay for you just to make a tone on there for us to use.
Funnily enough, it's stock Ableton plugins :p
Man I’d love to sample some parts of this
Hi sean, just recently subscribe to your channel, may i know what p90s you are using, thanks
