I’m not catholic but the first vid that popped up for me about 3 weeks ago was the Divine Mercy and Faustina teaching. And since then I have been listening to you. My prayer has been to know God more. I have felt like I hit a the peak in Protestant teaching but knew there was more. Well Catholic teaching is fulfilling the knowledge that I yearned of God. Really explaining the faith. The vastness of God and His mysteries and the soundness in it doctrine. This was a great video I enjoyed it.

I am now 58 (can't believe where the time went) but around the age of 30 I still hadn't met anyone and was wondering if I was to be single or married. In God's time I met my beautiful wife and was married at 33 and one of my daughters, 21, was married last week, on the Thursday after Easter. Alleluia! As a Christian, all I can help you with is that our loving God has a plan for you and stay close to Him and things will work out. Wow! I think this talk was written for me!! Fr Chris, this has got to be your best talk ever (or, at a minimum, in the top three). You explained everything so very clearly and your examples brought everything into focus. We must use our God-given intellect to inform our conscience - a step the secular world chooses to ignore. I have to tell you, after finding your talks on TH-cam and learning the fullness of my Catholic faith, I am experiencing deep peace, joy, and love like never before. As you said, having right attitude is key. My senior quote in my high school yearbook was “it’s your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude“. Four years before he died, he has his first confession and Holy Communion, and though I know he had the Holy Ghost, he was confirmed, because this has been taught since the beginning. Oh my goodness Fr. Chris.. this is so timely!! When you started talking about when you didn’t properly discern, I just started crying. I also didn’t properly discern before getting married. Now my husband of 13yrs abandoned me for another married woman and filed for divorce. I feel that God is redirecting my path to enter religious life (don’t worry I don’t have kids). I believe that if this God’s will that He will provide a way for me to be a nun through the intercession of Our Lady. Our good Lord just blessed me with a spiritual director after praying for months 🙌🏼 I plan on visiting the shrine in June and I hope to meet you. Thank you for answering God’s call. Thank you. I needed this. I chose the married life. Now my go to saint is Saint Monica. Of our Blessed Mother, she is my consolation and my guide. Both are mothers and know the hardships and suffering I go through. I cry for my children to come back home. The enemy makes me question everything I did and accuses me. And for sharing what you said about being married or being a Priest. Because I was engaged to a Man I knew deep down wasn’t what God wanted for me. Because I knew I had to put Gods will first and marry the right man. I came out of a bad heartbreak in the last couple of months, but also found my greatest love of all…..God. I will pray for your family as well. My dad was a Pentecostal tent preacher! Four years before he died, he has his first confession and Holy Communion, and though I know he had the Holy Ghost, he was confirmed, because this has been taught since the beginning.
God keep you and your family! I ask Him in Jesus Name that He guides, keeps, protects, and supplies all needs according to His riches in glory, both spiritual and material. Lord more than two are gathered here and there isn’t any distance in prayer. I know that You guide us Jesus when we love YOU and desire Your Will! Amen

Oh my goodness Fr. Chris.. this is so timely!! When you started talking about when you didn’t properly discern, I just started crying. I also didn’t properly discern before getting married. Now my husband of 13yrs abandoned me for another married woman and filed for divorce. I feel that God is redirecting my path to enter religious life (don’t worry I don’t have kids). I believe that if this God’s will that He will provide a way for me to be a nun through the intercession of Our Lady. Our good Lord just blessed me with a spiritual director after praying for months 🙌🏼

Thank you. I needed this. I chose the married life. Now my go to saint is Saint Monica. Of our Blessed Mother, she is my consolation and my guide. Both are mothers and know the hardships and suffering I go through. I cry for my children to come back home. The enemy makes me question everything I did and accuses me. I hear him speak through my children. It causes me great anguish but I surrender to God Almighty my Father. In the name of Jesus. Thanks be to you Lord Jesus Christ.
