I know this is an old video, but the sliders are great for tuning gains. Set your rough tail gain at say 60% in the GYRO menu, then assign LS to the rudder gain. This means that whilst the model is hovering you can adjust the gain value +/- 20% just by moving the slider up or down in flight. Say you find the perfect setting, you just land, set the actual gain value to the new one, and disable the tuning feature again. It's really handy.

Every time you pull out a radio I remember "oh yeah, I had that one too". Loved my 10C, but IIRC the CGY750 was also my reason for switching to the 8FG. In total, I've owned the following since I was 15, 18 years ago...
    SkySport 6 (35Mhz)
    6EXA (35Mhz)
    7C (my first 2.4Ghz Tx)
    10C
    8FG
18SZ (current, and will stick with for a long time)

I bought the 10J for use with my fixed wings, Iam new to this, little did I know futaba does not make a 10 channel reciever for the 10J, and from what Iam reading there are very few servos that work with sbus

Hello I'm a old heli flybared pilot.
Going to flybarless in 2023 since more than 12 years never had any rc helis anymore.
So my radio is the 10C ...in my opinion back in 2010 this radio is a rock for medium Futaba pricey radio.
But watching your video for flybarless seems like my 10C radio is game over.
So would you mind to share or let me know if I still be able or not to use my Fut 10C radio for setting and flying flybarless rc heli?
Please let me know or should I buy the 8Fg Super radio to fly the flybarless?
    Thanks bro

Nothing against Spektrum, though I do remember their DX8 days... Still, I too have always used Futaba without issue and so have never needed nor wanted to change. I like them a lot too, so why rock the boat?

      I agree.
I still use my 40mhz 4YF radio with no issues at all.

The 8FG will do everything a CCPM (non FBL) helicopter needs.

    Futaba support is terrible.
I've had a 14SG for a while. I need the plastic rear and side grips. Contacted Futaba support but no response. Frustrating!

Sorry guys, Futaba don’t innovate any more. They’re behind the times and poor value!
