  • Hello, everyone! In this video, I've compared three significant plugins related to film emulation: CinePrint16, FilmConvert Nitrate, and Dehancer. These plugins have become quite interesting for professionals in the film industry and independent filmmakers, providing more control over transforming your footage into the authentic film style.
    🔍 Plugin Comparison:
CinePrint16: Unlike the others, CinePrint16 operates not as a plugin but as a power grade. This feature stands out, offering a different user experience.
FilmConvert Nitrate and Dehancer: Both plugins are well-designed and compatible with various cameras. I tested these plugins on footage captured with both BMPCC og and other cameras.
    🤔 Which One to Choose?
The choice of which plugin to use depends on your needs and personal preferences. The information presented in this video can give you some insight, but making a decision might be challenging.
    📌 Thanks:
I want to express my gratitude to my friend Hugo Malpeyre, who provided me with the opportunity to create this video. Thanks to him, I could thoroughly compare these three plugins.

I’ve never used dehancer or Cine print 16. Love film convert. It’s so wonderful that we have so many choices and techniques for film emulation!

I would say Dehancer is good as Nitrate, but it depends on your scene. And vice versa - Nitrate might work better in different scenarios. Great job as always! 😊 And thanks for sharing 🔥

I agree. Although it depends on the scene: I think Nitrate is more flexible. Dehancer is braver, but the probability of making mistakes is slightly higher. Thank you so much for watching.

Dehancer looks best but also I think the color difference between each grade makes it a little hard to compare them accurately.

I used kodak ptra400 film stock in dehancer and filmconvert. Of course, as you said, it is a little difficult to compare the three accurately. Maybe looking at texture other than colors will make our job a little easier.

I use often cine print 16 and also dehancer. But I think the style is different:) I think that cine print 16 is more vintage than dehancer. I love both :) Thanks for making video to comparer :)
