However that's what fans in this era of online football have become, banter over substance or brains, people will banter rival clubs with stuff that isn't even true because it's all about that moment to just laugh at another club then dismiss any reality come back because you just want to laugh to distract you from your own clubs issues, same as Arsenal fans are bantering United and Chelsea for being mid-table because it distracts from the 2 years them screaming about it's their time then losing out.

Last season she was borderline suicidal, shamefully wearing other teams shirts until we 'bottled' the prem in April and then it was all banter and shame on Arsenal. But who was saying before the season started we would be in the race? That wasn't overachieving it was bottling. The energy and standards are one way.

I hate these terms "overachieving and underachieving" in football and the attitude towards it as well. Its as if Villa are not allowed to be in the top four and Spurs are not allowed to be below that. It cheapens the game for me, because I want the PL to be competitive and not see the same teams get top four season after season.

Spurs were top for about 3 matches and top four for about 12 weeks, the rest of the time and the vast majority of the season for 5/6 months we've been around 5th so I don't get the need to dress it up any other way.
