I've lost count of how many reactions to this video have left me disappointed when people just don't get it. Especially when it takes so long to watch them. But it makes it all worthwhile when I come across a reaction like yours. So on point and such a genuine, honest response. Thank you, that was great!
Yes, happy it is. He was with a band named The Big Push and they did some great stuff. I'll list a few things and let you pick the one you want. I Shoot the Sherriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop make sure it's this one th-cam.com/video/uSeCuR51rek/w-d-xo.html Wade in the Water/Nina Simone (Feeling Good)/Trouble So Hard th-cam.com/video/DbL7Frf6nJI/w-d-xo.html Then we get him with Sam Tompkins singing Earned It/It's a Man's World/Falling th-cam.com/video/d8nBzrhd8Ro/w-d-xo.html
Loved that you cried with me for this story! If you want a happy one, watch What You Want, Love Music pt 3, Losing It (Fisher retake) or I Shot the Sheriff/Rd to Zion/Hip Hop by Ren with his band The Big Push.
I loved your reaction. I really enjoyed “Power” by Ren for a positive vibe. Also, “Humble” has an easy-going feel to it. Your reaction was just beautiful. I think he’s making a lot of us feel vulnerable and reflective when we hear his music. ❤
The most genuine reaction to this song I've seen. Seeing the realisation in your eyes was very powerful. "The Hunger" or "Losing it" are easier listening.
Thank you for such a heartfelt reaction. I am sorry you had to go through such a tough time and so young. Bongo Bong cover by the Big Push never fails to put me in a good mood! th-cam.com/video/EQAUupOFarw/w-d-xo.html
REN’s friend is Chinchilla. She’s just dropped a track called ‘Little Girl Gone’ if you want to cheer up her track is POWERFUL. A woman’s anthem absolutely. It’s hit the charts after 24hrs & you won’t forget it. It’s a banger!!! ❤
REN’s homage to old school Beastie Boys hip hop “What You Want” is upbeat. His “1990s” song is upbeat and “Power” is very upbeat even though the subject matter isn’t. #ren #renmakesmusic
For an upbeat impressive display of so many of Ren's talents, go for his version of Bob Marley's, "I Shot The Sheriff/Road To Zion/Hip Hop," mashup with his band The Big Push. It's a great busking session and the energy of the crowd and the unexpectedness of ... well ... Ren will have you happy and just waiting to see what he does next.
You have a good caring heart and your reaction proves it. Ren's lyrical mastery has a way of gripping one's heart, (hell I cried) lucky this is his saddest song. The rest of his large catalogue extends to several genres and they are all kick ass. Have fun venturing down the Ren rabbit hole.
Oh India, you got it from the very first utterance of the word *twins*. I think you expected something bad from the first bars of Violet's Tale. If you want something more cheerful, he does have some great bars in "What you want", "Love Music 1-3", and any of his busking tracks with The big Push. They're all excellent.
hey India, great reaction....I'm an og viewer from your other channel...just found this one! Missed you! Glad i found this channel. Subbed. Ok, for a happier song, a fun song, a different vibe....Ren - What You Want. It's a modern take on 80's hiphop Beastie Boys style and really good. You know though, you really can't go wrong with anything Ren does. He's a modern day Bard honestly! Glad to see you again, looking forward to more! ❤️✌️😉😁
Ren has several happy songs, but I think 'What You Want' should top that list. It's just silly fun with friends all the way through (but still masterful musicianship).
I was thinking towards the end like wow she caught all of it but kind of laughing off the whole end?... oh wait... she was holding it in. Loved the reaction, takes some courage to be vulnerable like that in front of random strangers but I'm all for it For a happy one I'd suggest The Big Push - I shot the sheriff/road to zion/hip hop. It's with his band and they perform it live and he just has you smiling throughout the whole thing I bet you
Well, Rens friend Chinchilla has a live version of Fingers that may not be a happy song, but it'll make you feel like you can fight the whole world. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, after all.
another twist in the tale.. if you go over the lyrics of Jenny's tale... she walked streets deep in the night, on high heels.. streets she'd walked a thousand times before.. she wanted to escape her life. The story is inspired by an actual news article Ren read about a young teenager killing a prostitute and ending up dead himself. Jenny was 14.. walking the streets. the third song is a brainchild of Ren, written a couple years after the first 2... nothing more is known about Jenny and Screech so he filled in their backstories adding their unfortunate blood relation, and making up Violet and her backstory tying them all together. The man is a master storyteller. for something more lighthearted, check out the covers he has done with his band, the Big Push, whilst busking in Brighton, UK (busking is panhandling.. playing for spare change on the streets). or delve into his rap repertoire, with songs such as The Hunger.
First time i see a reactor guess the rest of the story at "Two twins aligned side by side", most ive seen only get it after hearing "Screech". I also knew the end when i heard twins, although i though he'd say Jenny and James and let the listener join all the dots.
What an incredible reaction!! Can you realize that many reacters miss the connection?. Daddy went to prison, Violet went to the morgue and the kids never knew but still continued the legacy, Screech with severe anger issues, and Jenny freezing just like her mother. Crazy tales for certain
Wait til ya see his Ocean, Crucify your Culture, Life is Funny, Humble... His clearly spoken Rap is OFF the charts! OMGoodness... You Gotta See Them!!! Also... Hunger, Losing It, illest of our time, Genesis, etc... Dig in... his talents are limitless!!!
I have watched this tale many times, when you asked in the beginning, where is his parents..I asked the same thing. Your reaction made me tear up, AGAIN!! I'm a mom...I have seen abuse, intergenerational trauma. This hits. New sub!!
Oh honey...You need to react to his song POWER..to lift you back up... its a VIBE..even though the words are kind of deep as always...you cant sit still listening to it.
Bongo Bong by his Band The Big Push will put a big smile on your face. Loved your touching reaction and have just subbed as looking forward to seeing more.
Also, one of my favorites from Ren is Blind Eyed (Live). It has a good message but also upbeat. Plus he sings with Sam Tompkins and Sams voice is amazing.
For a more cheeky, pure fun Ren, you'll want to make sure to catch 'Losing It' th-cam.com/video/mLvAGjhDssc/w-d-xo.html which is one of the remixes that he likes to do to various beats ("retakes" in Ren speak) or 'What You Want' th-cam.com/video/jrjp4Du0rEc/w-d-xo.html which is an homage to the Beastie Boys and old school hip hop in general- like 90s era hip hop. Late '80s and '90s. Another upbeat track is 'Power' th-cam.com/video/6_hnhVDtzTY/w-d-xo.html. 'Power' is a vibe and I really think you would enjoy it.
Please please look at more Ren songs! He is so incredible, and he has such an amazing range of talents. If you are looking for joyful, check out "i shot the sheriff" with his band , The big push. Or "Losing it", or "Blind eyed" (angry car park attendant version) ALL outstanding! For more tears 😢lol, check out his sad, but beautiful duet with Chinchilla " Chalk outlines". Please dont stop, you are fantastic to watch 😊 Love from across the pond ❤
Wait until you hear him sing beautifully in “Chalk Outlines” with Chinchilla, live version. And then hear him rap & beat box in “Losing It”, The Hunger”, “Genesis”, “Power” and “Love Music” parts 1, 2, & 3, “Money Game” pt. 1 & 2 - and so many more. You got a lot to go still yet ♥️
Girl first off I want to say I am SUPER late to the party commenting on this video, I know. But you have the most amazing reactions - I found your channel through Hamilton, and I watched your reaction like 3 times because its amazing how you FEEL things. I discovered Ren about a month ago and when I saw you had some reactions up, I had to check it out. Your honesty and your vulnerability is BEAUTIFUL. When you cry its because you truly empathize and you truly feel, your tears are freaking STRENGTH. Thank you for sharing your experience with us
I got the best Ren tonic for your Jenny and Screech sadness. I Shot the Sheriff with his band The Big Push, make sure it’s the one with 6.9 million views. Or maybe ‘Love Music’ which has three parts. Also a shout out for ‘Life is Funny’ and ‘Humble’ which is a duet with Eden Nash.
Check out 'What you want' for some happy, old school stuff, 'Fisher Rap retake' for some decent bars. anything by the band he was in 'The Big Push' will bring a smile top your face. You've done most of the heavy lifting at this stage.
Great reaction. There are many great Ren songs and I think he trielt helps people who can relate - Chalk Outlines is a beautiful one ❤. If you need a quick happy breather always turn to Supertramp - happy is their super power even if the song is serious. “Logical Song” would be my recommendation as an introduction, it’s about boarding school, deep but musical and leaves you happy.
To make it even sadder, he wrote the first two parts after reading a newspaper article buried in the middle of the paper about a 14-year-old boy who had stabbed and killed a prostitute. He thought it was terrible that such a horrible thing would be so far back, thought of as so unimportant. He's actually got a bunch of upbeat tracks. Some of them have sadder elements, but are still a great listen. Losing It, The Hunger, Power, What You Want, Bittersweet Symphony, Right Here Right Now, Ocean, Humble. For something dark and a bit comedic, maybe try What Went Wrong and What Went Wrong part 2, with Sam Tompkins. There's also a bunch of videos where he's busking, either alone, with Sam, or with the band the Big Push. I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop is one of the standout tracks. Earned It/Man's World is also quite excellent.
If you want an upbeat / happy one, try "The Hunger" or "Losing It (Fisher rap remix)". They're amazing and not tear-jerkers. "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop" is a freaking INCREDIBLE medley/mashup performed by Ren and the band The Big Push that he was a member of (not currently together as a band -- but they might get together at some point; I think the main reason they wrapped up the band was probably that Ren had to leave to go to Canada for treatment for his Lyme Disease). Also upbeat and fun, fun, FUN! "Chalk Outlines" and "How to Be Me" are NOT happy, but are AMAZING.
Awww appreciate your reaction and sharing a piece of your story. Try the Hunger, or Losing It, or Bittersweet Symphony and pretty much any of the stuff with his band The Big Push, a nice start with them is I shot the sheriff / Road to Zion / Hip Hop (mashup). Peace
Appreciate the sincere reaction. Powerful song. Okay, that's two sad song reviews from you today -- take care of yourself and review something happy next!
I just saw you are reacting again, I loved India Reacts and actually still go back to watch those. So, you are back, and so am I! Looking forward to catching up.
I recomment REN in the Big Push - Covering - The Big Push - I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop. I promise you will have a big simile on your face. I like it more than the original (But I know, he is here standing on the shoulders of giants).
He tells the stories and the filming of the stories are all done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every town, city, and country at this very moment and the cycle continues
Thank you for reacting to this!! I missed quite a few words, tho, because you were talking. Perhaps, next time, let us hear the song too and save some of your words for a specific break in the music. ❤❤
You said at 19:33, "This world is sick" , he said the same in his song "Sickboi". The story of Jenny is based on a true story (a young street walker get killed) then he created the rest. Maybe the twins came from his dad who abused of Violet. There is also a live with crowd of this song and it's awesome. He used a 360° camera for see him and the crowd with our mouse and his show was phenomenal. Ren - The Tale of Jenny and Screech (Full 360 Live Performance) th-cam.com/video/S_hs8EkWeZg/w-d-xo.html
Great reaction, I enjoyed your take on it!! Just to throw it out there, the artists don't have any control over how many or what type of ads get run during the music video, that's all TH-cams doing.
AYEE don't forget to like , comment and subscribe for ya homegirl thank you !!!
"Losing it" by Ren should cheer you up.
Hey kidda, so uplifting seeing your beautifully human reaction to this very sad tale. You have my love and respect. Keep your chin up.
You didn't even tell me you had a different channel😮! I've been on the other channel waiting for you to come back. Lol! ❤SUPER GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK!
I've lost count of how many reactions to this video have left me disappointed when people just don't get it. Especially when it takes so long to watch them. But it makes it all worthwhile when I come across a reaction like yours. So on point and such a genuine, honest response. Thank you, that was great!
Hearing ya say in the first couple of minutes “where are your parents James?” while I know the ending… 🫣😭
Same.... she's giving Momma bear vibes and I knew her heart would be broken 💔 great reaction 🔥
Did you you know Jenny was a fourteen year old prostitute? Walking the streets!
Ditto
Yes, happy it is.
He was with a band named The Big Push and they did some great stuff. I'll list a few things and let you pick the one you want.
I Shoot the Sherriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop make sure it's this one
th-cam.com/video/uSeCuR51rek/w-d-xo.html
Wade in the Water/Nina Simone (Feeling Good)/Trouble So Hard
th-cam.com/video/DbL7Frf6nJI/w-d-xo.html
Then we get him with Sam Tompkins singing Earned It/It's a Man's World/Falling

Do his band. The Big Push "Bongo Bong ". It's a happy song.
You need more Ren!
Loved that you cried with me for this story! If you want a happy one, watch What You Want, Love Music pt 3, Losing It (Fisher retake) or I Shot the Sheriff/Rd to Zion/Hip Hop by Ren with his band The Big Push.
Hiya India, if you want to hear Ren having some fun check out Losing it and What you want totally different from this but so much fun enjoy 🐦.
I loved your reaction. I really enjoyed “Power” by Ren for a positive vibe. Also, “Humble” has an easy-going feel to it. Your reaction was just beautiful. I think he’s making a lot of us feel vulnerable and reflective when we hear his music. ❤
Ren does everything, he does rap, rock, reggae, and this type of music etc...
The most genuine reaction to this song I've seen.
Seeing the realisation in your eyes was very powerful.
"The Hunger" or "Losing it" are easier listening.
India this is by far the best reaction to "Jenny & Screech" I've seen ❤️
Thank you for such a heartfelt reaction. I am sorry you had to go through such a tough time and so young. Bongo Bong cover by the Big Push never fails to put me in a good mood! th-cam.com/video/EQAUupOFarw/w-d-xo.html
BONGO BONG! 😊Yes
Such a vibe 🎉
Another real raw reaction , thank you for being you .... ps we all cried with you ❤
we're all crying, you're not alone. also, nothing better than having a good cry, free therapy! 👍

A really good feel good song that Ren has is called What You Want it will definitely make you smile.
And, by the way, your reaction is exactly why I always watched India Reacts. Real reactions.
Thank you
For an upbeat impressive display of so many of Ren's talents, go for his version of Bob Marley's, "I Shot The Sheriff/Road To Zion/Hip Hop," mashup with his band The Big Push. It's a great busking session and the energy of the crowd and the unexpectedness of

I love your reaction. It's very honest and straightforward.
This was by far my favorite reaction to this video, and I've watched too many.
Ok. Now, imagine this a Hollywood film. This is a blockbuster. Ren is a story telling genius.
Oh India, you got it from the very first utterance of the word *twins*. I think you expected something bad from the first bars of Violet's Tale. Chinchilla just dropped a track at midnight called Little girl gone. It's such an anthem.
A happy one you say ?? Have to check out Ren - What you want 👍😁
I'm so glad you are checking out Ren! Give Chalk Outlines a listen next. But fair warning, that one can get pretty emotional.

You figured out the twist faster than anyone I’ve seen.
What an incredible reaction!! Can you realize that many reacters miss the connection?. Daddy went to prison, Violet went to the morgue and the kids never knew but still continued the legacy, Screech with severe anger issues, and Jenny freezing just like her mother. Crazy tales for certain
Oh man. Why leave spoilers for new listeners. Lol!
Wait til ya see his Ocean, Crucify your Culture, Life is Funny, Humble...
His clearly spoken Rap is OFF the charts!

Oh honey...You need to react to his song POWER..to lift you back up... its a VIBE..even though the words are kind of deep as always...you cant sit still listening to it.
Power is a great song, it covers serious issues but does so positively.
Bongo Bong by his Band The Big Push will put a big smile on your face. Loved your touching reaction and have just subbed as looking forward to seeing more.
He has hot ass bars as well as his lyrical story telling!!
Genesis, The Hunger, The Illest of Our Time, and others!
He is Soooo talented!
This reaction was 🔥🔥🔥
Watched many but of all I related to your commentary ❤
Also, one of my favorites from Ren is Blind Eyed (Live). It has a good message but also upbeat. Plus he sings with Sam Tompkins and Sams voice is amazing.
Do the car park attendant one! It will make you laugh I think
Yes! The angry car park attendant is a MUST! Xx
Great reaction! You _really_ got it, which many reactors somehow fail to do.
Jenny inherited her mother's traits and Screech inherited his father's.
Also, thank you for your honesty in your reaction. You have a new fan in me. 💜
Love the reaction. He really gets you, right down to the core.
Please please look at more Ren songs! He is so incredible, and he has such an amazing range of talents. If you are looking for joyful, check out "i shot the sheriff" with his band , The big push. Or "Losing it", or "Blind eyed" (angry car park attendant version) ALL outstanding!

Love from across the pond ❤
Aw I felt that in my soul ❤ Ren def has made me feel all the feelings

Ren - Losing It
Please! My favorite happy upbeat Ren song. Full of humour
Another great reaction x
If you want a break from the sad, check out What You Want and Losing It. Both are a lot of fun and will make you laugh ❤.

“What you want” by Ren is a really happy song. I can’t listen to that song and not be in a good mood. It’ll have you dancing and vibin
The exact reaction I had in December, try Ren- What You Want. You'll smile,I promise! (He's not from London, he's Welsh but lives in Brighton.)
Great heartfelt reaction to a genius masterpiece...!
Super react, really lovely... Do 'Losing It' by Ren.. much happier. :)
Beautiful reaction ❤
Oh my god 😂 Ren has bars for days! Try Fisher Rap retake and The Hunger ❤
For the ads Blame youtube they choose where to put them unless you delete them manually and right now Ren is in Canada having treatment
He has manny happy songs.Exemple....Uninvited...Love music 1..2..3..and 4 and more!!!Love your reaction...Go girl!!greats from Amsterdam❤
I've watched so many reactions to this song. I think yours may be my favorite ❤ you're beautiful!
Girl cry!! All of his songs are lyrical magic! But do the hunger from ren it's a great rap
Such a genuine reaction. ❤
"James...where your parents at?" 🙈 😁👍
Hey girl, so happy to see you react to our boy Ren! Welcome to the (REN)egades lol!❤❤❤
Peace
Beautiful. I love how in touch and open you are with your emotions.
❤❤❤
Hey if you want a more uplifting Ren video, check out his remix of “Bittersweet Symphony”
Beautiful Beautiful !
Thank you darlin🙏
If you want a more relaxed one, Love Music part 3 is pretty nice (parts 1 and 2 not bad either but there's a nice lyric video for 3 on youtube)
"...like it's their parent or something" ;) You were quite close ;) Greeeeeat reaction!
Somehow I think you're not quite done with Ren yet :) Great reaction!
I recomment REN in the Big Push - Covering - The Big Push - I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop. I promise you will have a big simile on your face. I like it more than the original (But I know, he is here standing on the shoulders of giants).
Reca what?
Great reaction, love your accent. Ren does it all, looking forward to more reactions ❤
'Losing it Fischer Rap Retake' is a funny one - but no doubt we are all crying with you!
Do Losing It! Upbeat!!!
He tells the stories and the filming of the stories are all done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every town, city, and country at this very moment and the cycle continues
Thank you for a great Ren reaction. I'm now a new sub. 😁
A very happy one, his most requested when busking, the Big Push - It's Alright (Live at Chalk). I should add, The Big Push is RENs band.
I love you! Nice analysis. Truth!
Ren's What You Want or Losing It. It's been awhile since I caught India. Great reaction.
Happy: “Losing It” or “What You Want”
The band is called atmosphere the songs are called okay and sunshine…I think you’ll enjoy it
This is the best reaction I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m shitting my pants right now. You are so fucking dope.
Lol best reaction! “I’m fucking done with Ren”. We get it!
Bless your soul young lady, you have a beautiful heart😇
Thank you for reacting to this!! I missed quite a few words, tho, because you were talking.
Perhaps, next time, let us hear the song too and save some of your words for a specific break in the music. ❤❤
The best couple of dollars a month I ever spent was for premium TH-cam. I forget how many ads I no longer see. Thanks for reminding me.
I love you!!!!! you are the realist reactor!
“I’m f’n done with Ren” is the best response to this yet!!
Watch Power for a lighter side
Power!!! You’ll love it
Great energy
You said at 19:33, "This world is sick" , he said the same in his song "Sickboi". The story of Jenny is based on a true story (a young street walker get killed) then he created the rest. Maybe the twins came from his dad who abused of Violet. There is also a live with crowd of this song and it's awesome. He used a 360° camera for see him and the crowd with our mouse and his show was phenomenal.

Great reaction, I enjoyed your take on it!! Just to throw it out there, the artists don't have any control over how many or what type of ads get run during the music video, that's all TH-cams doing.
