@@nadaso8819 There is definitely a taboo-avoidance element to it, but I think there is also an inherent understanding within humans that swearing (and informal language more generally) is the quickest way to acceptance by another group. A *good* understanding of the many varying uses of the word "fuck" will inevitably put you in better stead making friends than knowing words like "automotive industry" or "biochemical engineering" (unless you're specifically in those fields). So yes, it helps you avoid offending people to know swear words, but it also helps you to actually bond with people to use them at the right times. It's actually pretty stupid that formal education in languages tries desperately to avoid teaching swears. It means you only ever get half an education, and never really learn how real people talk in real situations.

She just tweeted a few days ago that it's finally going to arrive soon (after many months), but yeah, her current mic often craps out compared to Monoe's and Pikamee's mics.
