This is truly fascinating, and your wisdom is so very admirable. I appreciate this information,as I am passionate about my teapots. I own a beautiful little Master Wu,I cherish it
@charlesperez9976 dear Charles, thank you🙇♂️ 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿 The war is very deep. It is not just versus the counterfeit pots not made of ZiSha. It is also versus the countless, countless numerous Master Artists engaged in the dishonest and money-churning Dai Gong 代工 market. Almost all of them are. They come with certificates too. In YiXing, when you walk the streets now, There are full streets lined up with Jigger-machined pots and all these Dai Gong works as well. Enter a shop, and all these Dai Gong pots all come with certificates. Streets of them. 🙏🏼🌿🎋
@charlesperez9976 thank you Friend in Tea for your kind words. The war is almost impossible to win. But I will trudge on. The RealZiSha Craftsmen and Artists we are working together are totally committed to this mission too. I am very heartened and happy to hear form you Charles.
@thezishateapotchannel.1675 are there any reviews of other famous clays from China? Guangxi Nixing has been gaining popularity recently for its relatively less expensive price point, would love to see an analysis into its making process (:
@Electron101 Dear Buddy🌿🌞🙇♂️ it is better for me to reply you via your email, and explain to you in that way. Drop me an email at, realzisha@gmail.com 🍵🍵🍵
What's the main difference between a handmade pot and a factory made one at this level? Will it severely affect the taste? I have a cheap factory made 60ml teapot and it leaks around the lid. That's my main issue with it. Other than that I think it's quite fine for what it's meant for. I want to own a hand made tea pot, I really do, but they are seriously expensive.
I think you answered your own question. As per my understanding counterfeits come in 2 varieties- decently functional genuine yixing clay pots that work fine for the tea brewing but which are marked up and sold as more expensive handmade art pieces by masters thus causing economic loss to the buyer, and outright fakes make with non-yixing clay or worse, paint-mixed clays which can be downright harmful to the users. So if a factory-made pot is sold at fair prices, then you get value for money. Similarly if a pot is sold as an art piece "in the style of yixing pot" but with clear warning not to drink from it, fine. It's when those ethical lines are crossed that there is a problem
Save some spare change and you’ll get one in months time, in the meanwhile research on good sources and info (I like essence of tea and realzisha). Get a cheap porcelain or chaozhou 60ml pot (not a good idea to drink from a random factory 60ml pot) for your needs.
Dear Mr Luis, thank you for your fervent engagement with the tea culture🙏🏼🌿🍵🌞, I recommend ours firmly at realzisha.com . Please spend time reading the articles. You need to know. Take your time Mr Luis🍵🍵🍵🎋 we have many patrons in the U.S.

If you plan on drinking tea for a long time its wont be expensive in the end
