Lord have mercy... 7 years ago!? I guess I'm new because I'm only 2 years in my loc journey. BUT this is exactly what I want in about 2 years! My length is about between my shoulder blades and just long enough to drape in front. Simple to do and very beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing! Oh, 1 & 3 definitely!!! ✌🏾🫶🏾
I was dreaming and margining the first style with the cross ties, and you did it! Unfortunately, I'll have to save it for at least another year, for them to grow longer. Loc goals!!!!! Thanks Nique!
I do the first two ALLLLL the time...But I've never alternated on the first...I'll be sure to do that. Also I never just use two locs to tie at the bottom... haha I always do more than one in anything...I'm afraid it will weaken them (may be an irrational fear lol) Thanks for this!!! I just recorded a 3.5 year update today....yipppeeeee lol so fun to be able to start doing some fun styles!
Your just too beautiful 🙆🏽 👌🏾👸🏾. I love those hairstyles and the thickness of your Locs. Are you a semi free former? How often do you retwist? I love the look of your roots your Locs are healthy thanks for sharing great tutorial. 😘❤️🙏🏾
Thanks! I believe I am doing the semi free form method. I mean I definitely don't retwist a lot, probably like every 3 months. For the times that I rest my hair, I just keep my roots separated so they don't marry.
@@sabrinapeoples967 Healthy hair starts from within. A wholesome diet with lots of healthy fats (olive oil, salmon, sardines) and minerals like zinc and magnesium (dark leafy greens, walnuts, etc.) Then wash your hair at least every other week and MOISTURIZE!!! From the inside too, drink water. Find a way to get it down - sparkling, flavored but unsweetened. Half a gallon, EVERY DAY. Use a very gentle shampoo (Trader Joe's Tea Tree has no harmful sulfates or mineral oils). TJs Conditioner is good too. You can use it diluted as a leave in. Then apply an oil - coconut mixed with jojoba or argan to seal in the moisture. Daily, spritz your hair with witch hazel. It now comes in really nice scents like rose and lavender. Finally, be gentle handling your hair. Our hair is fragile, especially if you have 4C texture. I'll bet money this vlogger doesn't have 4C. I do have 4C and I have to use care but it's TOTALLY worth it. In 3 years I've gone from 3" long to below my shoulders. 👍🏽Good growth to you. 💗
