Am I the only one who got this is in my recommendation after watching the photocopy video?
I’m in Australia and my printer prints it out just fine
TuxedoGamerPro63 I’m like what is this guy talking about? I printed a one dollar, a 10 and a 20 dollar bill with my HP Envy Photo 7155 printer. I was shocked at how similar it looked to the original bills. My friend amazed . I still have them. I had no idea I could get in trouble for just printing it out curiously. I would never try to spend it.
Use retro-tech from the days before the constellation was hardware recognized. I've got old scanners from the late 80s / 90s sitting on a shelf in the basement.. (shrug) Friend of mine has huge printing presses from the late 70s to mid 80s in his barn. It's not impossible, just difficult .
ADDED: Use old bills from the 50s through the VERY early 90s. They're missing most of the security features and are still worth their face value..
Its funny how u cant open bank notes in photoshop, imagine trying to photoshop an image of u holding a 100$ bill and u cant because its blocked like wtf
Try MS Paint. It always works and will work. Well, it worked for me to make a really good, edited image so idk. Maybe I just used it too much. It took me two years to learn how to make working money with MS Paint.
Samuel Adolfsson For that I would need a 3D printer to print fake diamonds.

Business Insider: It's impossible to photocopy money
Ceapa Cool: Allow me to introduce myself
I scanned and printed old Canadian 5s and 10s in the early 2000s and it worked.
Everybody gansta until you need to print out a picture of the Eurion constellation for a school project
ohh newer version of Photoshop is not supporting dollar image.
Who needs photoshop, if there are plenty of other photo editors, which also don't cost 999$.
So, just delete the dots and print so much money you need to buy a new iPhone or mansion, which both cost nowdays the same.
c4p0ne I have photoshop, downloaded from torrents. I will check if it patched 🤔
Some criminals have been known to edit the eurion pattern from images in an older version of photoshop. Not that it much use with most countries going over to plastic polymer banknotes.
I remember printing a $5 bill then just threw it away cause of how much tape i used
Is there a way to disable the software in order to bypass the protection ?
What if u just drew the eurion constellation, printed it out and tried to photocopy that?
Me printing money back in 2008 would like to disagree
Cover them holes mate and then use a thin sharpie and draw them by hand😉
Not really all I did was cover the the Orion pattern in tiny drips of paint very tiny and then it printed without a censor
Dave Micolichek It is very easy to take dark lime green paint to make it that way but I’m not using them to buy stuff so I really isn’t a bad idea
david not so gaming ! Also all I do is just take a real bank note and I just take paper draw the circles and I use it as a mold by placing the paper in the banknote then after taking water and alcohol I was able to heat the note also using non high thermal sensitive cartridges colored. I was able to copy the Orion pattern without messing up the Note checking with a Banknote Validation
Thx for the truth info in the beginning bra tht sum this real info good video
Just put the picture of money in word
It would be possible to make sure your digital art isn’t reprinted with the constellation!
If you have an old $5 bill without the counterfeit measures then you could probably photocopy one especially the ones with the small heads or the 2003 series doesn't have the stars on it
Plus money is not made paper (at least in the US)
It‘s super easy to change the actual software of a photocopier, which then allows u to copy the money
I literally just tried, and successfully scanned both sides of a new US $50 with my HP Envy printer and then successfully printed it. Obviously it was fake since it was on printer paper and the front and back sides didn't line up but it still scanned and printed
Thats a neat security feature
It does not work on all printerd. My HP scanned several bills with no problem.
You got to find the old bills the ones that were made before 1990
you can actually, I've tried
I wish I could do that so that I can escape panhandlers.
What if we actually want to photocopy dots that resembles the Orion Constellation..?
just put the front of a $100 bill on the first page of a google doc, then put the back of the bill on the second page, click print, check for double-sided, then print and cut it out
I tried to copy a five dollar bill (US / with an autograph written on it) on my HP printer and it only printed the first 1/3 of the bill and canceled the rest of the print cycle, I tried several different time all over the print screen and with a grocery store flyer as a backdrop and it shut down every time, after five attempts I printed just the flyer and it printed like a champ, so King-O-suave speak truth, Bah,ha,ha !!!!
Good thing we live in a free country where a citizen can't photocopy a private companys paper
@Dave Micolichek how would you like to be a slave to your own government
there are easy ways to beat the circles. we beat them on checks at the office.. there are other generic softwares that allow it...
@@PhilJLF just by your unhealthy curiosity, you dont need to know that. I do know of several but I never had a desire to get a life sentence ( 20 years at my age is a life sentence) . Only an inexperienced young person or a dummy is able to convince himself that he can con secret service where a lowest ranking agent has a university degree . Supernotes were produced by the same printing presses in north Korea with the exact ink on the exact same paper. Secret service blew up a supernote to the size of basketball court. And then they studied it with magnifying glass and realized it was a fake.
U
S Dollar is the only world currency.
I did this on my printer, Adobe Ps prompted a block while trying to import it, but I patched my way into it and stored it as a .psd file on my HDD. So I can print multiple counterfeit bills.
Can I copy coins though?
No problem. Commercial banks have the right to issue counterfeit money.
that insurance fraud joke at the end tho
Cover the dots with white out
The end was actually hilarious.
So if I just do a bunch of dots on a piece of paper in that pattern it will not copy it?
That's what I was wondering as well. I'm guessing if it actually matches accurately to what is on money it probably won't.
they need to give this guy a raise
You can’t photo copy money
But you can photocopy things for money
Technically, the scanner I have does not care. It will scan the paper money but opening it in a software like Paint Shop Pro was the problem. I now use GIMP. ;-)
I was just looking at my collection and they all do have that pattern , mind blown United Nations
Currency everywhere you go
bullshit, I just scanned a hundred dollar bill on my Canon scanner
Used to make copies of small bills at a convenience store where my ex worked & put in the ATM discharge tray.
Interesting - Canon MX472 with Paperport scanned the front and back of a legal one dollar bill. It would not scan the front of a fake $100 bill, but would scan the back of that piece of paper.
Brugh- When I was younger I printed money 24/7- It worked when I was a kid
Does that mean it wouldn't copy a picture of the actual constellation either?
I read “why is it important to...”
Tested this out on my cheap canon with a 1 and sure enough it didn't work. That is cool as fuck.
You know you can just cover the dots and it will print
So if I was trying to copy a diagram of the constellations I wouldn't ve allowed either? Or what if I add these dots to anything, does that work?
This dude look like a gta V npc
There's a video on TH-cam where a guy try to photocopy a currency note
You can't copy money, but you can copy videos
Impossible is a big word don't you think?
You actually can print money if you cover the darts with a small piece of paper...
This should be called how to get in prison to 40-50 years
** Federal Reserve wants to know your location **
so does this mean if i try to print out the consellation it wont work?
They say it's OK to legally image a "percentage portion", but that didn't work either! I needed the fed reserve note as a color calibration reference side by side with my paint chips, in the same spectrum... oh well! guess I'll have to figure out something else!
what if i take a pic of a dollar with a professional camera and then print it
It's true. I thought it was a hoax so thought I'd see if it works and sure enough my scanner software said no! Not doing that. Very clever.
What about the Polish złoty. If you ever see one you can see there are no dots on it.
I wonder....
Photocopying money will be allowed once you beat the game.
then what if u made ur own scanner from scratch that way there wont be any software protection?
The only way this video could be funnier would be if the date read April 1st! :D
I tried a $1 bill a few years back and it had no issues
FBI : *Wait That's Illegal*
I used to do it as a kid to leave on the street and watch from a distance.
I used to put little bags of fake dope on the sidewalk & watch people's reactions.
I mean, what if I just want an image of money for my short film? If I can't image copy money, then my film won't have the realistic look I'm going for.
So if I have a picture of me at the store, handing over money to the cashier, I'm not allowed to print it?
It will actually let you copy a one dollar bill though .... the dots aren’t on the one dollar bill
Hold up i can photocopy a 20€ (euro) and it works
But older bills don’t have the eur constellation.
Didn't expect this lame answer. Software can be overridden.
Lol, our photocopier is so old its software doesn't recognise the constellation
What if you scribble out one star
This is not true, I just tried to scan a $10 bill at my job to prove this video and I got it to scanned it. I burn it right away but video is not 100% accurate.
An important thing to note is that only SOME scanners can identify banknotes, and many scanners do. I guess the one at your work simply can't identify it. The video is still accurate.
What if I hack the printer so it'll let me?
Does this mean that the royal mint is counterfit
Philippine currency aint having that constellation
It is probably so damn worthless that it would cost way more in paper and ink than the bank note will actually be worth lol.
Just a joke, you Philippine folks are nice people! Don't get offended please!
what if i create my own copier that doesnt restrict that pattern
Did anyone get this in their recommended?
My question is how did photoshop recognize the picture
Thank you
I work in the bank and I need to know this. Copy machine is powerful than artist. Just like a camera.
